Today we’d like to introduce you to Elii Ormond.

Hi Elii, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started modeling in 2017, I just wanted to start taking pictures because I got inspired from my sister, she had a fashion-based blog and she would take pictures every Sunday for her blog, watching her do that and seeing how confident she looked while she was taking pictures made me want that same confidence. So I decided to start taking pictures with the photographer she was working with.

After a while, I decided I wanted to start branching off and shooting with other photographers and the more I would shoot, the more I realize how much I loved modeling. I realize this is something I wanted to do for a living and I’ve been working towards my goals and dreams ever since.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, it’s been a smooth road so far, I think early on my hardest challenges had to do with my confidence. I felt like I wasn’t super comfortable in front of the camera but that all went away the more and more I would shoot.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I model, I’ve been modeling for about four years now. I think what sets me apart from others is that I direct some of my own photoshoots, I love telling stories through my photoshoots. I also love styling my own shoots and creating concepts for photoshoots.
