Good morning Terrance, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My two beautiful children, Layla Ann and Thurl Gray Stone. Watching those two develop has really grounded me alot. Knowing everyday they wake up without a care just loving life, allows me to unwind sometimes and let go of things. Im super grateful to be their dad. I love it.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Terrance Stone I am a community builder & content creator. Over the past 10 years ive ran a TV show called Cutty TV which has expanded into many things, we have a blog called Jersey Watch Blog and we have dived into streaming creating a stream team called The Thurl Ones and a sub community called The Thurl Breds. I love changing lives, that’s been my mission since day 1. I love what I do.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I want to say my mother, she was very supportive of everything I did. I still remember surprising her with a Cutty TV shirt and her eyes lit up with excitement. She knew id be rich before I actually was.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Plenty of times, I think give your creators, grace, what we do everyday getting the world to love our passion is a long road for some, and a short road for others. We go against the normal way of living which definitely comes with a larger reward in life but in the beginning its hard to stay inspired especially when money is low. As a creator anytime your money low for too long, you think is this even worth it now? The universe knows how to send us signs to keep going, to someone reading this, this is yours. You will definitely run into times of asking yourself “man is this ever gonna work?” Know that if you stop, it definitely wont work. So you minds well keep going and see how far you can get. Everyday its one foot in front of the other. Keep going.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Of course Nipsey Hussle, he definitely an inspiration to my moves to this day. One of the reasons why I moved to LA, it was a blessing to go to his roots and experience his culture and put feet on land. Its a part of his soul that lives in me now, I understand the marathon continues no matter what.

Everything I do today, regardless I will be a great businessman, great husband, great father and great friend. Everything else I do is for me and about me, its for the people who gonna love me for me.
