My name is Tanya Stawski, and I am grateful and honored to be recognized again among the top 1.5% of real estate agents in the United States. Based in Beverly Hills and work with Sotheby’s International Realty, I represent clients across the Greater Los Angeles are—from Beverly Hills, Bel Air Air Hollywood Hills , Brentwood , Santa Monica, Malibu and everything in between.
Born and raised in Germany, I speak several languages, which allows me to serve a diverse and global clientele with ease and deep understanding. My international background gives me a unique perspective and the ability to provide a highly tailored experience across cultures and lifestyles.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What relationship most shaped how you see yourself?
The relationship that has most profoundly shaped who I am is the one I shared with my beloved mother of blessed memory. She was my hero, my biggest cheerleader, my trusted confidante, friend and my source of unwavering strength. Losing her last year after her battle with cancer is the most painful experience of my life. Yet her unconditional love and the lessons she imparted continue to guide me every single day.
My mom taught me the importance of humility and kindness, to treat everyone with equal respect, regardless of their background or role. I will never forget as a child how she insisted our gardener and helpers join us at the same table, because she believed that every person deserves to be seen, valued, and honored.
She also inspired me to explore the world with curiosity and courage — encouraging me to study abroad, travel, and embrace diverse cultures. That open-mindedness shapes how I serve my clients, helping me connect deeply with people from all walks of life and to understand their unique needs and dreams.
I am forever grateful for her love, our fun times and guidance. Her legacy inspires me to lead with integrity, gratefulness, heart, and purpose. values I bring to every client relationship. Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Wow, this interview is about sharing more about my personal life. Here we go. There was a very challenging period in my life when I was involved in a five-year international custody battle. Many people around me, including attorneys and professionals, doubted the outcome and thought I might lose. But with the unwavering love and support of my family and friends, and with the help of G‑d, I never once considered giving up. That experience taught me resilience, belief and the power of steadfast determination. In the end, it turned out well. It is kind of a reminder that no matter the odds, holding on with the truth, faith and support can lead to positive outcomes. So, no, I never gave up, nor did I ever think about giving up.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that what truly matters to me is the quality of my relationships with my family, my friends, my partner, and my clients. I deeply value the connections I build and am committed to making the people in my life feel truly heard, supported, and cared for. Whether it’s guiding a family through one of the biggest decisions of their lives or sharing meaningful moments with loved ones, it’s about the trust, respect, love and genuine care I bring to every relationship. Absolutely. I believe in giving my best not for praise or recognition, but because it is for myself my own satisfaction and fulfillment.
When I commit to something whether it’s for my family, my clients, or myself, I give my 100%, even if no one is watching or applauding. The real reward is the satisfaction that comes from knowing I have done everything I can with excellence and intention.
