Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Sofia Stefou of Everywhere

Sofia Stefou shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Sofia, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I have been working diligently with a dedicated team at Stonelore Saga to create 12 episodes mini drama animatic series and we are all super proud to have recently launched the series on Youtube, TikTok and Instagram.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m an LA based producer and actor that works in traditional and new media spaces. I”m currently the executive producer of Stonelore Saga which is a multi-platform adventure, combining collectible card gameplay, interactive missions, and values-driven storytelling. Stonelore invites a new generation of kids (and their parents) to not just watch, but to live the story.

It’s a mythic journey set in a Universe where ancient magic, future tech, and real-world values collide. At its heart is a new mythology: Zac and Abby are teen explorers racing to recover Terralyth shards and defend Earth from an alien force bent on domination.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
I think what’s shaped how I see the world has really changed over the years from the experiences I’ve seen and been through. I look back sometimes on my rebellious, feisty young self and there are so many times that I miss that girl! She was spunky. She was fun.

What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
I think trying too hard to make something happen. I’ve had many projects and jobs where I’ve failed spectacularly and my only regret is that I chose to keep going long after I know I should have quit. I think we all have an intuition about how things are going and I feel like we (myself included) need to trust that inner voice when it says it’s time to let go.

Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
Right now I’m really feeling Pamela Anderson. She’s just gone through so much in her life and to see her making decisions for herself and living life on her terms is really inspiring.

If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Honestly, I don’t think I would stop anything that I was doing. I really enjoy the work that I do, I enjoy meeting new people and going through new experiences, I love spending time with people I care about the most in this world. If anything I would do more of what I’m doing not less.
