Good morning Noe, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
Yes — one recent moment that really made me feel both proud and joyful was when we catered a party for a guest who was genuinely excited to have us there. From the moment we arrived, her whole family shared in that excitement. The atmosphere was warm and full of positive energy, and we connected naturally with everyone. As we explained our menu and chatted with guests, the conversations flowed easily. Their genuine enthusiasm, kind words, and positive feedback reminded me why I love what I do — and it left me feeling truly proud of our work.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
When price is forgotten, quality lives on.”
— Heavenly Gourmet Churros LLC
Heavenly Gourmet Churros LLC blends nostalgia and indulgence in every bite, creating a first-of-its-kind gourmet churro with flavor, texture, and crunch from the first bite to the last. Most famous for our signature Gansito style — inspired by personal memories and made to share — we’ve been told by clients it’s nothing short of a “pastry orgasm.” Our clients have hosted Disney-themed parties where guests have claimed our churros are even better than Disneyland’s. For us, it’s about recreating the simple joys: the nostalgia of leaving Knott’s Berry Farm with a funnel cake to share, or the delight of freezing a Gansito and savoring it later. The best things in the world, all wrapped in sugar and cinnamon.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Who saw me clearly before I could see myself?
Honestly, it was God. Even when I wasn’t sure about my path or doubted myself, He saw what I couldn’t yet see. That faith kept me going, especially when things got tough.
A couple of verses that really speak to me are:
	•	“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
	•	“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
These remind me that even when the road feels uncertain, trusting God and sticking with the work is what brings the breakthrough.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering taught me that where there’s a will, there’s always a way. It showed me the strength and determination I didn’t know I had — that no matter how tough things get, if you keep pushing, a path will open. Success is great, but it’s the struggle that really builds the grit and faith to keep going.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Family and values — they’re the heartbeat of everything I do. It’s not just about blood ties; it’s about the bonds built on trust, loyalty, and shared dreams. These are the people who see you at your worst and cheer you on at your best. They keep me grounded, remind me of my purpose, and fuel the passion behind every churro we make. Without that foundation, none of this would mean nearly as much.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
They’d miss the full experience — not just the churros, but the craft, the conversations, and the connections. They’d miss getting to customize their own churro, joke around with us, ask questions, and hear the stories behind what we do. Our quality is top-tier, and our customer service is a solid 10 out of 10, but what really makes it special is the bond we build with guests. We have a blast connecting with people, and I think that joy is something you can taste in every bite.
