We’re looking forward to introducing you to Angel Princess. Check out our conversation below.
Hi Angel, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: Have any recent moments made you laugh or feel proud?
I recently had the premiere of a film I had the pleasure of working on with Egyptian award winning director Peter Takla.. The LA premiere was a huge success and many people came out to support us back in June. I played an immigration officer. It is currently still screening across the US and even in other countries! That premiere was definitely a proud moment of my career so far…
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Angel Princess and I am an actress & producer. I have a film streaming on Prime called The Paradise Motel and a film called 40 Days currently screening across the United States. Two more horror films are releasing this year which I starred in called Demon Fever and Clown Motel: 3 Ways To Hell. Follow me on social media to keep up with my projects…
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
As a child, I believed I had to fit into society’s rules and standards. I wasn’t popular in school and I only had a few friends growing up because I was very shy and quiet. As I got older I realized I could live life the way I wanted to and I didn’t have to be accepted by anyone. My career has helped shape who I am and I’ll always remain true to myself.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
The one kind thing I’d tell my younger self is not to be so hard on yourself. The world is full of opportunities and if one dream doesn’t work out, then follow the next. Never give up though. Find a way to keep going. Even if life gets tough, you get tougher and prove to the world that you can accomplish all your goals one step at a time. There is no time limit. Just keep pushing.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
The one project I’m truly committed to is my script about my love story. It’s taken me a couple years now to figure out what direction I want to go with it, but I know I want to be a successful filmmaker and continue writing scripts based off my life experiences. I finished writing it but I’m so indecisive about the final edit. No matter how long it takes I will eventually share it with the world. I’ll be playing the lead actress for this project and producing it as well. I’m also looking forward to hopefully opening up my own production company soon!
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
The story I hope people tell about me when I’m gone is how much love I gave and how kind I was. I want people to remember me for my character and not how much money I made or what kind of car I drove. Success in my heart means living your dreams and appreciating those who support you along the way.
