Hi Joshua, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
Music- it’s always been music. A new song or band to put on and fall into.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name Is Joshua Spencer and Im a photographer and director based in Los Angeles. I am also a co-founder of All Studio, a creative production company we started a few years ago with a goal to bring all of our creative friends together on projects for brands and clients thru creative story telling. Creative direction, art direction, production, to post- a one stop creative shop if you will. We’re able to scale up or be small and nimble depending on what the client needs, which we think sets us apart form other agencies. Our ethos is friends working with friends. We believe that the shoot days should be celebrations, the real work of shoot days should happen in pre production, so that the day of feels light and fun.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who taught you the most about work?
Dan Monick, who would probably bristle to hear me refer to him as a mentor, but it’s true.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Being weird is a super power, don’t be afraid to lean into it.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Inclusion, it’s what our whole company is based on.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you tap dancing to work? Have you been that level of excited at any point in your career? If so, please tell us about those days. 
Im grateful and happy for every day of work. We are very lucky to be trusted to tell peoples stories. I love what I do so every day is a dance day.
