Today we’d like to introduce you to Wendy Merino-olivares
Hi Wendy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Wendy Merino Olivares. I am the youngest of three, and I grew up in South Los Angeles, witnessing hardship but finding resilience in adversity. My parents, who migrated from El Salvador to escape war, instilled in me a strong sense of perseverance. After overcoming struggles with depression and self-identity, I became a young mother at 18 and pursued a career in the medical field, becoming an LVN. My healing journey began in 2009, and by 2021, I embraced my passion for crystals and self-affirmation, launching my business despite stigma and challenges. A proud mother of five and a Reiki practitioner and Sound Healer. I am dedicated to helping teenagers, families, LGBTQ individuals, and pets, offering guidance and support to those in need. I pride myself on facing life’s obstacles with hope as I continue to grow as a holistic entrepreneur.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As a teenager I struggled with my mental health and defining healthy relationships. In 2009 I discovered the book “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hayes, and it began my healing journey of self-discovery. After reading it, I was highly inspired to find my voice, learn to set healthy boundaries, and to heal through self love instead of trying to fit in.
Another struggle I faced was overcoming limiting beliefs as well as the stigma of my religious upbringing and embracing my authentic self, which empowered me to find my path to Reiki, crystals, and healing generational trauma. I had always felt called to these things, but the challenges of motherhood really opened me up to the energies around me. This led me to seek out community engagement, and in 2024 I attended the CEO Goddess Retreat hosted by Lunam Love and the Now Us Foundation. There I found the tools to tap into my inner goddess.

Having faced my own mental health challenges and witnessed the resilience of my children, I deeply believe in the transformative power of crystals, self-help resources, and positive affirmations. Our mission is to guide families with love and compassion, fostering wholeness of the mind, body, and spirit. By offering crystals for wellness, we strive to support our community in achieving
holistic well-being.

What does success mean to you?
Success to me is being of service to my community and offering hope, support to those who are struggling. It’s finding a balance between motherhood and my career. Success is not always comfortable, and it can feel foreign to those who are accustomed to struggling. It was important for me to step outside of my comfort zone in order to succeed. I want to be a beacon of light and inspire my community.
