Today we’d like to introduce you to Steffanie Stelnick.

Hi Steffanie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in Northridge, CA but moved to Santa Clarita, CA at 6 months old. I attended elementary school through high school in the Santa Clarita Valley. I received by Bachelors degree in both Law and Society and Communications, Arts and Advocacy from American Jewish University in Los Angeles, CA. I received my law degree, a Juris Doctor, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA.
Throughout law school I worked with the City of Los Angeles in the civil litigation department. In working for the City of Los Angeles I worked on multiple cases ranging from slip and falls to wrongful death lawsuits. At the City of Los Angeles, I helped the civil litigation department win multiple jury trials and reach settlements well before a trial was set to start.
When I finished law school the City of Los Angeles was not hiring and so I ventured out on my own. I met one of the owners of Scorpion an internet marketing company, who said he could help me open a successful personal injury practice. When he asked for $100,000 a month in commitment I said maybe not. Then he said well you can do real estate law for $500 a month. I said I hated property law class in law school and he said it wasnt the same and since I love California real estate I said yes and that is when I first started on the journey to becoming the Queen of real estate in California. I help everyone whether working class or upper class in protecting their biggest assets, their homes.
Through the law practice my husband learned to flip houses and that brought the ability to purchase real estate throughout the state of California where we have short term rentals and long term rentals. At this time we have acquired about 12 properties including two commercial properties that we rent and manage ourselves. Through the law firm connections and clients we acquired Southern California property management, Inc., One of the largest property management companies in southern California where we manage almost 1000 properties. The main difference between our company and others is that our clients have direct access to the firm to help them with their properties not just for management. We also have a short term management company named Bulldog vacations where we manage about 15 homes through the State of California. I still love real estate and most importantly love helping others with their real estate to help them grow their empires as well. Real estate, especially in California, is the best investment and I love helping Californians manage and maintain their biggest assets to help people protect their biggest assets.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes and no. I have learned a lot and dont regret anything. And love taking risks and without taking risks there is no reward.

Ms. Stelnick began her legal education working for an intellectual property law firm in Tarzana, CA. Thereafter, she worked with the City of Los Angeles in the civil litigation department. In working for the City of Los Angeles Ms. Stelnick worked on multiple cases ranging from slip and falls to wrongful death lawsuits. At the City of Los Angeles, she helped the civil litigation department win multiple jury trials and reach settlements well before a trial was set to start.
Ms. Stelnick’s core belief is that focusing on the client is critical in the litigation process. Insurance companies, negligent doctors, negligent manufactures, and even negligent corporations have strong legal representation. A client without a strong, aggressive attorney will rarely operate on an even playing field in a litigation environment.
