Luxury is not loud. It doesn’t demand attention—it whispers, it lingers, it emanates from the essence of a life well-lived.
I was born into construction and creation—my Papa a developer, my father a builder—and I learned early that building is not just about structures, but about legacy and intention. That foundation shaped everything. I grew up captivated by the idea of what makes a home feel whole, not just look beautiful.
Before launching Skylar Hope Design, I immersed myself in the finest design practices—learning the art of balance, proportion, and timelessness while building relationships brick by brick, heart by heart. Guided by integrity, alignment, and devotion. I transformed early collaborations into masterpieces of trust and artistry.
Eight years ago, I founded Skylar Hope Design, a boutique studio rooted in quiet, timeless luxury. Today, our work spans Los Angeles and throughout the United States—estates in Beverly Hills, coastal retreats, and architectural gems that blend the grandeur of tradition with the freshness of modern design.
Celebrated among Los Angeles’s most sought-after interior designer, I’m known for merging classic elegance with modern moments—creating spaces that balance structure and softness, refinement, and soul. My work is recognized for its unique architectural detailing and the effortless harmony that allows every home to feel both grounded and elevated.
For me, design is more than visual—it’s emotional and spiritual. Every space we create is meant to mirror the client’s inner world, serving as a sanctuary of alignment, peace, and intention.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey hasn’t been easy anything but smooth—but it’s the challenges that shaped my purpose.
I have overcome several major medical challenges in my younger years. I am a success story. Spinal fusion at 12 and brain surgery at 25. Grateful they were a one and done for both. They forced me to confront my purpose and awakened me to gratitude—the realization that life is a gift.
These experiences could have silenced me, but instead, they ignited me. They taught me that true power is cultivated in stillness, clarity, and the courage to be different. I learned to transmute pain into peace, chaos into clarity, and darkness into light.
Without healing through both Eastern and Western medicine, I would never have achieved the mind, body, and soul alignment that transformed me to start my firm and help others to this degree. My healing became the foundation for how I live—and how I design. Every project I take on is rooted in that same philosophy: to create peace, harmony, and wholeness from the inside out. I design with purpose”.
I no longer shrink to fit in or seek approval. For so long, I tried to be “normal,” until I realized that normal is simply another word for hidden potential. Being different is the gift.
Today, my purpose is to help others rise—through the power of intentional design, healing spaces, and the belief that we are all capable of building the life we desire, one home and one heart at a time.

Skylar Hope Design is growing rapidly, and our team is expanding—because what we do is deeply meaningful. We’ve begun integrating BioGeometry, a modern form of Feng Shui that harmonizes electromagnetic fields, geopathic stress, and spatial energy. This innovative practice allows us to create environments that support wellness, energetic alignment, and transformation on every level—honoring the truth that everything is energy. This work feels more vital now than ever, and we’re excited to bring it to more clients through deeply intentional, energetically balanced design.
I’m passionate about shaping a more sustainable and conscious future through thoughtful design. My mission is to reduce waste and encourage mindfulness in how we create and live within our spaces. By collaborating with forward-thinking manufacturers, I’m working to redefine how we approach materials and production—prioritizing longevity, quality, and environmental harmony.
I guide my clients toward investing in high-quality, timeless pieces or sourcing one-of-a-kind antiques—choices that elevate their homes while supporting eco-conscious living. As a proud member of the Green Building Council of California, a nonprofit dedicated to transforming communities and advancing human and environmental well-being, I’m committed to leading by example.
My goal is simple yet powerful: to inspire others to embrace sustainability, minimize waste, and cultivate homes that are as kind to the planet as they are beautiful. Together, we can design a future that is both enduring and inspiring.
Over the next five years, I envision Skylar Hope Design continuing to thrive and expand—transforming spaces with purpose and integrity.
