Today we’d like to introduce you to Rubina Chadha.
Hi Rubina, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in a home where ancient yogic practices were not hobbies, they were simply the way life moved. Mantras were part of our mornings, meditation was woven into our evenings, and silence was never something to fear. It was a space my family honored and protected. That rhythm shaped me early. Even as a child, I felt things deeply and noticed things others moved too fast to see. I learned to be guided by the intelligence of stillness long before I understood its science.
What I didn’t realize then was that those early practices were laying the groundwork for the leader & founder I would one day become. I discovered a creative language through my father’s 35mm camera as a teen. Photography became a meditation. One breath. One frame. One decision. It showed me that presence is the birthplace of creativity. That awareness stayed with me as I later pursued my education in fine arts and design. It made me understand that a single moment holds the power to redirect an entire life.
As I entered my professional career in design and creative education, I saw the same patterns repeating across every client, student, and team. People weren’t lacking ideas. Their nervous systems were depleted. Their creativity wasn’t gone. It was inaccessible. It was hidden under stress, burnout, and the pressure to live a life built by expectations instead of alignment. I had lived this pattern myself. Years of overachievement, people-pleasing, and running on fumes ultimately pushed me to a place where my body signaled what my mind refused to hear. That turning point forced me to return to all the practices I grew up with, but now I also wanted to understand them through a scientific lens.
That began the next phase of my work. I studied breathwork, the science behind stress, trauma-informed education, and understanding emotional regulation. The more I combined the wisdom from my lineage with the data from modern research, the more clearly I saw the same truth. Your life is shaped by the quality of the moment you are in. And the moment you are in is shaped by the quality of your nervous system.
When I started teaching these principles to high-performing professionals, creative teams, and students, the results were immediate and visible. Breath patterns changed posture. Mindfulness shifted decision-making. Nervous system regulation unlocked creativity that had been dormant for years. People became leaders not through force, but through awareness. This became the foundation of what is now the Inner Design Method, my framework for helping people reset their nervous system and realign with the choices and decisions that reflect their true self.
Every program I teach returns to the same essential belief: your life is shaped by thousands of micro-choices. Creative choices. Nervous-system choices. Boundary choices. Even the choice to pause. When those decisions come from alignment instead of survival, life changes not in theory, but in real, measurable ways.
It has been the greatest privilege of my career to guide others into that state of agency. I’ve now spent over a decade helping leaders, creatives, and students reconnect with their inner rhythm so they can live, work, and create from a place that is grounded and true. Across every interview, from Women in Power to Harder Than Life to How Yoga Changed My Life, my message has remained the same: you can rebuild your life from the inside out, breath by breath, choice by choice.
Today, my work is about bringing people back to themselves, creating a baseline free from stress. When you regulate the nervous system, you access clarity. When you find clarity, you make aligned choices. And when you make aligned choices, you design a life that reflects who you really are. That is the work I am honored to do. That is the legacy I am building.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has never been smooth, but every challenge became part of the curriculum I now teach. My most defining struggles came during seasons when I was overextended, misaligned, and living by expectations that were never mine. Burnout, the pressure of running a family business, and the emotional toll of single motherhood all pushed me into survival mode. Those were the years when my nervous system was constantly on alert, and I realized I could not keep creating or leading from that place.
What changed everything was returning to the practices I grew up with and letting them guide me back into alignment. Breathwork, meditation, and somatic awareness became not just tools but lifelines. As I rebuilt myself, I saw a clear pattern: every breakthrough came from regulating my nervous system first, then choosing from alignment rather than fear or urgency. That pattern eventually became the wireframe for my business and the foundation of the Inner Design Method.
So the struggles were not detours. They were the laboratory where I tested, refined, and lived every principle I now guide others in. They are the reason my work is grounded, repeatable, and effective, because it was built through lived experience, not theory.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Inner Design is the work I created to help people reset their nervous system and return to a life that feels aligned and clear. At its core, Inner Design supports high performing professionals, creatives, and leaders in learning how to live and lead from presence rather than pressure. My programs bring together breathwork, somatic awareness, and creative practices that help people regulate, realign, and reconnect to their natural rhythm.
I specialize in helping people see and feel real changes in their nervous system so they can think clearly, create freely, and lead with emotional steadiness. This is what I am known for. Clients often share that they feel an immediate shift in clarity and internal steadiness after working with me. The work is not surface level. It shows up in how they breathe, speak, move, and make decisions in real time.
Much of my work supports leaders and CEOs who are carrying the invisible weight of constant decision making. When someone is responsible for driving vision, people, and outcomes every day, the nervous system rarely gets a chance to reset. Over time, this leads to decision fatigue, self doubt, and a quiet disconnection from intuition. I help leaders restore internal stability so decisions feel clearer, cleaner, and less reactive.
What sets Inner Design apart is the integration of ancient yogic wisdom with a modern understanding of how people actually live and lead today. I grew up in a deeply spiritual household and spent years working in creative and educational environments. That combination shaped a method that supports both inner regulation and real world performance. People do not just feel better in their body. They lead with more confidence, clarity, and emotional steadiness.
Brand wise, I am most proud that Inner Design feels like a place people can exhale. It is designed to feel safe, grounded, and welcoming. The brand reflects warmth, clarity, and real presence rather than pressure or force. Every offering, from Creative Reset sessions to corporate workshops, carries the same intention to help people return to themselves in a way that feels practical, supportive, and sustainable.
What I want readers to know is that the Inner Design Method is not a quick fix or a mindset shift. It is a pathway back to natural clarity. When the nervous system settles, decision making improves, creativity returns, and leadership becomes more embodied and authentic. Inner Design gives people the tools and guidance to make that shift real and lasting.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
The best advice I can offer is to build your work from alignment rather than urgency. When you are starting out, it is easy to chase everything and doubt yourself at every turn. Slow down enough to hear your own inner rhythm. Let your decisions come from clarity, not comparison. I wish I knew earlier that consistency built from presence is far more powerful than speed. When you stay connected to yourself, the right opportunities and the right people meet you where you are.
