Today we’d like to introduce you to Lilian Tahmasian.

Hi Lilian, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Whilst finishing my BA Degree in Marketing at University in Sydney, I began creating content for fun on YouTube and accidentally went viral in 2009. Whilst working at a Media agency full-time, I decided to continue to receive my Masters in Media Marketing and Business and became a full-time Digital creator in 2014.

With a BA in Marketing and a Masters’s Degree in Media, I began managing and producing content for some of the top companies in Australia and worldwide. Becoming one of the most viewed channels in Australia, allowed me to gain opportunities across the industry. Focused on Style, Beauty, Fashion, Health, and Advice, we continue to create content daily on all our platforms and our YouTube channel called “Lilian Tahmasian” frequently.

Currently, the Lilian Tahmasian brand has over 9 Million Views on our YouTube Channel and has become the 3rd Most viewed Youtube Channel in Style and Beauty in Australia. Our brand’s goal is to continue to create awareness of self-empowerment, confidence, motivation, inner power, and beauty.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing comes easy, however “if it was easy would you want it?” and if it was easy everyone would have it. Funnily enough to this day when some people see us online, they say it must be so nice taking images all day and having that be your full-time job, or they only see the fun aspects of our job. However, they don’t necessarily see the time and effort we put into our day-to-day and the long hours.

We are grateful to have our team, however, we all work so hard for the Lilian Tahmasian brand and all our clients. We don’t take days off and work every weekend. So it requires more than the 9-5 job, however, if you do what you love and if you are truly passionate about your goals and your day-to-day, it makes things easier and allows you to want to succeed and continuously grow.

Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
