
Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyra Anderson.
Kyra, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I have been an athlete my entire life. From a young child, I was put into sports because of how talented I was. It was to the point where there were many options to choose from. It all came down to one final decision, soccer or track and I went with it for 15 years, from youth through college. I seen how hard mentally and physically it was for me and to do it by myself was even more challenging. I wanted to give up so many times and when it was time for me to retire, I said I was never working out again. Months and months of changing my thought process, I told myself I wanted to change the dynamic of having an unhealthy experience with being physically active. God told me to use the gifts and talents He gave me to help others and that’s what I did and what I am doing. I wanted to help others in a more exciting way that was more encouraging and understanding, while also helping them with their health and wellness. It is still a growing business, so I am working hard to get to where I know God is taking me. Just because I didn’t have the best experience doesn’t mean others can’t. I enjoy helping people and I think that’s what we all are here to do in our own way, in the way God told us to.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It is honestly not as smooth as I would like it to be, but I know everything takes times and eventually, all the pieces will come together. Some struggle I would say is the business side of it. Building my own business is really hard because I never had experience doing this before and I was never taught the business side of it. Also, having to be more social and engaging with others has been a process, but, like I mentioned, it is all coming together!

I am a personal trainer that focuses on nutrition, health, and wellness. Changing people’s lives and leading them in a better direction physically and mentally. What sets me apart from others is that I think outside of the box. Instead of your typical gym workout, I focus on outdoor workouts and group training sessions. I also focus on group training to build community and encourage others to keep going and that there are people just like them going for the same goal.
