Today we’d like to introduce you to Kira Ziff
Hi Kira, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my digital marketing agency, Socially Disrupt, when I was 19. I had previously owned a clothing brand and an online thrift store before this so I was very familiar with the world of digital marketing and what builds a “viral” brand. I’ve always had the entrepreneur bug and wanted to work closely with founders, executives, and internal teams at companies to build their presence online and also learn directly from the higher up’s at a young age.
We’ve worked with over 50 brands in the past 3 years and have had the incredible opportunity to work with a large variety of individuals from start up founders in Venice, CA to Executives at Paramount and Web MD.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road, but the challenges have been instrumental in shaping my growth as both a business owner and a leader. Early on, I realized the critical difference between being a boss and being a leader, a lesson that quickly redefined my approach. Leading with empathy, transparency, and a focus on building a strong team culture became essential, but it wasn’t without its hurdles. Navigating the intricacies of managing people, cultivating trust, and maintaining motivation through tough times required constant self-reflection and adaptation. These struggles, however, taught me the value of resilience and the importance of truly leading by example, which has ultimately strengthened my business and my leadership.

Socially Disrupt is a creative social media marketing agency based in Los Angeles specializing in brand awareness, community growth, creative strategy, and content development. Our services include social media management, content creation, and consulting.
Digital Marketing is an evolving and fast paced industry. We aim to disrupt the space of content creation, community interaction, and brand activations to change the way that brands show up in front of their audiences digitally. We have a heavy focus on driving traffic and sales and creating communities that convert.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Consistency is key! the person who shows up every single day will get further faster than the person who shows up with full energy one time per week. And don’t be afraid to get your name out there and make a scene. If I’ve learned anything, it’s that people will typically follow and respect the first person to speak up.
