Hi Kelly, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began my journey as a Notary Public and Signing Agent in 2003 while searching for a career I could call my own. With an independent spirit and a strong worth ethic, I built a mobile notary business that grew from loan signings into serving my local community, a turning point that came after creating a Yelp account, which greatly expanded my visibility and reach. Today, I work with attorneys, escrow companies, financial advisors and individuals who value the convenience and care of in-home notary services, focusing on trust, accessibility and showing up when it matters most.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like many in the real estate and lending space, my business has been closely tied to interest rate cycles. When rates were extremely low, the workload was overwhelming-so much so that I had to turn work away and my personal like felt the strain. On the other hand when rates rose refinances and purchases slowed, and loan signings declined significantly.

Those fluctuations taught me important lessons about balance, adaptability, and diversification. Navigating both extremes helped shape how I run my business today, allowing me to better manage growth while staying grounded and sustainable.

My business is built around providing reliable, accessible mobile notary services with a strong focus on trust and professionalism. I specialize in loan signings and general notary work, serving attorneys, escrow companies, financial advisors, estate planners, and individuals who need in-home services.

What sets my business apart is the personal care I bring to every appointment. Many of my clients are navigating important or emotional moments, and I pride myself on being attentive, empathetic, and dependable throughout the process. I’ve grown my business through consistency, community presence, and word-of-mouth, building a brand that people return to and recommend.

What I’m most proud of is the reputation I’ve earned over time. My brand stands for showing up when it matters, making complex processes feel easier, and treating every client with respect-no matter how big or small the appointment.
