Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanapol Samrittivanicha.
Hi Tanapol, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started AIPEX Group because I kept seeing the same issue in the mobility industry. Riders were constantly being forced to choose between affordability, performance, and durability. In many cases, they were paying more for products that still did not hold up well in real-world conditions. Having grown up in this industry for three generations, I had a clear view of how products were built, sold, and actually used. I believed everyday riders deserved equipment engineered for how people really ride, not how products are marketed.
AIPEX Group was built with a rider-first mindset from day one. The focus has always been practical engineering, real-road testing, and long-term reliability. I wanted to build tires that last longer, perform consistently, and require less attention over time. That thinking naturally led us into airless tire technology, which removes many of the common failure points associated with traditional tires and reduces maintenance for riders who depend on their equipment every day. We are not interested in chasing trends or cosmetic innovation. Everything we build is meant to deliver durable performance and earn trust through use.
I earned my Master’s degree in Product Development Engineering from the University of Southern California, where I developed a strong foundation in applied engineering, manufacturable design, and systems thinking. As CEO, I lead AIPEX Group with a disciplined and forward-looking approach. I prioritize execution over storytelling, data over assumptions, and long-term brand credibility over short-term wins. Our goal is to build a mobility performance brand defined by reliability, independence, and a genuine commitment to the riders who rely on our products every day.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest challenges in building AIPEX has been changing expectations in a very traditional industry. Durability and long-term reliability matter to riders, but they are harder to communicate than short-term performance claims or marketing-driven features. Developing airless tire technology also comes with real engineering and manufacturing complexity. It requires longer development cycles, disciplined testing, and patience before scale. At the same time, as a younger brand, we have had to earn trust without the benefit of legacy or volume, which means every product, every partnership, and every decision has to stand on its own. None of these challenges are shortcuts you can take, but they are necessary if you want to build something that lasts.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
AIPEX Group is a mobility performance brand focused on building high-quality, durable products at a reasonable price. What we do is straightforward. We design and develop tires that perform consistently in real-world conditions and hold up over time, without asking riders to overpay for features that do not translate into everyday value. Our specialization is practical engineering, disciplined testing, and manufacturable design that balances performance, durability, and cost.
What sets AIPEX apart is our approach to value. We are proud to be a reasonably priced American brand that emphasizes engineering substance over marketing claims. Innovation at AIPEX is not about adding complexity for the sake of novelty. It is about solving real problems for riders, whether that is longer tire life, reduced maintenance, or improved reliability through technologies like airless tires. We focus on products that make ownership easier and more predictable.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the discipline behind what we build. Every product reflects our commitment to American innovation, long-term thinking, and earning trust through performance rather than promises. What I want readers to understand is that AIPEX is built for riders who care about reliability, value, and honest engineering. We are not trying to be the loudest brand in the room. We are focused on being one that lasts.
How do you think about luck?
Luck has played a role, but I do not think it has ever been the deciding factor. I was fortunate to grow up in the mobility industry across three generations, which gave me early exposure and context that many people do not have. That said, experience alone does not build a company. Every meaningful outcome at AIPEX has come from preparation, discipline, and being willing to absorb setbacks.
There has also been plenty of bad luck. Supply chain disruptions, development delays, and the realities of building advanced products like airless tires do not always break in your favor. What matters is how you respond. I see luck as something that amplifies decisions already in motion. When you are doing the work consistently, good luck tends to show up as opportunity. When things go wrong, the absence of luck exposes weaknesses you need to fix. In business, you cannot rely on luck, but you do need to be ready when it appears.
