Hidden Gems: Meet Sandy Aouad of Sagoma di Sandy / Sandy Aouad Productions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandy Aouad.

Hi Sandy, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Lebanon beautiful, modest, full of love… and full of war.
That contrast shaped me early. I learned that life can be soft and brutal at the same time.

As a child, I was rebellious, curious, and deeply ambitious, very ambitious.
I always had this quiet certainty inside me: one day, I would be someone important.

That feeling never left. Even when I didn’t know the path, I knew the destination.

There were moments that pushed me forward, moments where I felt dependent on someone other than myself.
And in those moments, something in me refused to break.
I decided I would build a life where I never have to rely on anyone.

War was a constant backdrop. Not just around me, but sometimes within my journey too.
But I never thought about giving up. Not once.
There has always been a fire inside me steady, untouchable.

Today, I’m building my world.
From my film at Cannes to creating my brand Sagoma di Sandy, to designing pieces that carry my signature like the corset, I’m proud of turning vision into reality.

But success, for me, is not just visibility or wealth.
It’s having a voice.
It’s being able to create impact, to help others, and to stand for something that is true and right.

I’ve learned that I can lose many things, but I will never lose myself.
My peace is non-negotiable.

People who know me say I’m a force of fire.
That I touch sand and turn it into gold.
That I move like an unstoppable train.

And they’re right.

I’m building toward something global now, something bigger than borders.
What excites me is not just success, but happiness… and one day, building a family of my own.

At the end of the day, I don’t just want to rise.
I want to change things.
To leave people, and the world, better than I found them.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Sagoma di Sandy / Sandy Aouad Productions?
Today, I’m building my world.
From my film at Cannes “ Beauty Of Poverty” that is currently available on Prime video, to my next movie “ Ripe “ to creating my brand Sagoma di Sandy, to designing pieces that carry my signature like the corset, I’m proud of turning vision into reality.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Something people might find surprising about me is that, as independent and driven as I am, I deeply value softness.

I’ve built my life on ambition, resilience, and standing on my own. But at heart, I’m someone who dreams of a simple, grounded kind of happiness.

I would love to have a family one day to be a present, devoted wife, and a stay-at-home mother.
There’s something about that life that I find incredibly endearing, almost sacred.

For me, strength isn’t just about building empires.
It’s also about knowing when you want peace, love, and a home to return to.

And I want both.
