Hidden Gems: Meet Robin Gaur of Müv Real Estate Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robin Gaur.

Hi Robin, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started my career in engineering, driven by a fascination with solving complex problems and building systems that operate at a very high level of precision and reliability. I spent about 20 years in the aerospace industry, where I grew into senior management roles leading teams, managing large-scale programs, and working at the intersection of technology, operations, and strategy.

Over time, I realized that what energized me most wasn’t just executing within established systems — it was creating new ideas, improving processes, and finding opportunities to innovate. Working in aerospace taught me how to think rigorously, lead under pressure, and make decisions in highly demanding environments, but it also sparked my entrepreneurial mindset.

That eventually led me toward startups and entrepreneurship, where I could apply the same engineering discipline and leadership experience in a faster-moving, more dynamic environment. I’ve been especially drawn to building solutions that combine technical depth with real-world impact. The transition from aerospace to entrepreneurship has been both challenging and rewarding, because it pushed me to become more adaptable, customer-focused, and creative while still relying on the strong operational foundation I developed over the years.

Today, I’m focused on leveraging my engineering background, leadership experience, and entrepreneurial drive to build and support ventures that solve meaningful problems and create long-term value.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Spending two decades in aerospace gave me incredible experience, but it also meant operating in an industry that is highly structured, risk-conscious, and process-driven. Transitioning from that environment into entrepreneurship required a major shift in mindset. In startups, decisions move faster, resources are limited, and there’s far more uncertainty.

One of the biggest challenges was stepping outside of a stable and established career path to pursue opportunities where there were no guarantees. That meant learning to become comfortable with ambiguity, taking calculated risks, and adapting quickly when things didn’t go as planned. I also had to shift from managing within large organizations to thinking more like a builder — wearing multiple hats, moving quickly, and staying closely connected to customers and market needs.

Another challenge was balancing technical thinking with business execution. Engineering teaches you to optimize for precision and reliability, while entrepreneurship often requires speed, experimentation, and iteration. Learning how to balance those two approaches was an important part of my growth.

At the same time, those challenges have been some of the most valuable experiences in my journey. They pushed me to become more resilient, adaptable, and open-minded, and they reinforced the importance of continuous learning and strong leadership through uncertainty.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
One thing that might surprise people is that before co-founding MÜV Real Estate Group, I spent nearly 20 years in the aerospace industry in engineering and senior management roles. Most people know me today through real estate, branding, and entrepreneurship, but my foundation is deeply technical and rooted in systems thinking, problem-solving, and high-performance operations.

That background has actually shaped the way I approach real estate in ways people may not immediately see. I tend to think strategically, focus heavily on process and execution, and look for ways technology and innovation can improve the client experience. At the same time, the transition from aerospace to real estate taught me the importance of storytelling, relationships, and the emotional side of major life decisions.

Another thing people may not realize is that I genuinely enjoy building brands and experiences just as much as closing deals. For me, MÜV was never meant to be just another real estate company — it was about creating a movement and a modern experience around how people navigate change, opportunity, and lifestyle through real estate.
