I’m Rachel Miles, owner of Newport Silent Events. We are a full service Silent Disco company! I am a committed and hardworking entrepreneur passionate about creating memorable events, specifically Silent Disco events. My goal is to bring people together in unique and joyful ways, breaking the norm of traditional parties. With a background in event management and a love for music, I’ve dedicated myself to

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve identified the core challenges – awareness and education are your biggest hurdles. The good news? I have the most powerful marketing tool available: raving fans who say it was “the best time they ever had!”

I usually will lead with:

Silent disco is really multiple channels of music where people have fun listening and dancing to different music at the same time.

Silent Disco is now very easy with our integrated “Silent Disco In A Box.” Three headphone transmitters combined with three music iPods. Plug in the box, choose your playlists, and you are silent discoing. We eliminate the messy setup and forget about trying to remember the wiring instructions. It’s a great-looking box, and one transmitter can easily be configured to use with a live DJ. And yes, you can connect your own iPhone, Mac, or Android product.
