My journey really begins with my family — especially my mother, who has always been my greatest inspiration. We work side by side at *Pearl Wellness Center*, a business we built with the shared intention of supporting patients through one of the most vulnerable yet transformative parts of their lives: recovery.

Being in the plastic surgery industry, we’ve often found ourselves in the background — the women who work behind the scenes to ensure that a surgeon’s results truly shine. What many don’t realize is how critical recovery is to the overall outcome, and that’s where we come in. At Pearl, we focus on a holistic approach to healing, blending advanced post-op care with genuine emotional support, and that’s what sets us apart.

One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been building a team that feels more like family. Our staff is the heart of our success — their dedication, warmth, and professionalism shape the culture that clients feel the moment they walk through our doors. We’ve created a space that’s not only about physical recovery, but emotional comfort, trust, and empowerment.

And through it all, my close-knit family has been my foundation. Their constant encouragement and belief in my vision have given me the courage to take risks and grow. Pearl Wellness Center is a reflection of everything I value: care, connection, and purpose. And in many ways, I feel like we’re just getting started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

It’s definitely not been a smooth road. There have been seasons of real difficulty, both personally and professionally. Covid was one of the biggest challenges we’ve ever faced. Like so many small businesses, we were forced to close our doors for a time, and the financial strain that came with that was intense. We had to make hard decisions while still trying to protect our team and stay connected to our clients. Just when we found our footing again, we faced another wave of disruption — this time with the fires, which affected not only us, but the wider community we love and serve.

Beyond those external challenges, the internal ones have been just as tough. In this industry, competition can be fierce — and unfortunately, that sometimes includes betrayal from people we once trusted. We’ve experienced financial setbacks and emotional ones too, especially when former employees we trained and supported decided to open competing businesses, often using what they learned from us. That kind of hurt is difficult to describe, but we’ve learned to turn it into fuel — a reason to keep growing, keep evolving, and to keep leading with integrity.

Through it all, one thing has remained constant: our willingness to reinvent ourselves. This industry moves fast, and staying at the forefront means constantly adapting — whether it’s learning new recovery techniques, upgrading technology, or deepening the client experience. Reinvention isn’t just a survival strategy for us; it’s part of our identity.

Despite the ups and downs, we’ve come out stronger. Every struggle has taught us something important — about loyalty, perseverance, and the kind of business we truly want to be.

We’ve been impressed with Pearl Wellness Center, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Pearl Wellness Center, is more than a post-operative care business — it’s a sanctuary for healing. We specialize in luxury recovery services for patients who have undergone any outpatient surgeries, serious procedures, or who have been discharged from the hospital but aren’t quite ready to return home. Our goal is to elevate the recovery experience, making it just as intentional and supportive as the medical care itself.

We are known in the industry for working closely with top surgeons, often becoming an essential part of their patients’ journeys. Many of them trust us to help ensure their results shine — because proper healing is everything. We see ourselves as the women behind the results, supporting not just the surgeons, but the patients every step of the way.

What I’m most proud of brand-wise is the culture we’ve created. From our carefully curated spaces to the energy our staff brings each day, there’s an undeniable warmth and professionalism that clients feel the moment they walk through our doors. We’ve built a team that genuinely cares — and that’s rare. The trust and love our clients show us, and the results they experience, speak volumes.

What was your favorite childhood memory?

I grew up in Odessa, Ukraine, and some of my favorite childhood memories are the simple, beautiful summers I spent with my parents. Life moved at a slower pace back then, and those summer days felt endless — filled with friends and family meals, doing nothing at the beach and just being present with each other. There was such a strong sense of connection and warmth, and even though we didn’t have a lot, we had everything that mattered.
