Hi Irma, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story is basically one big adventure of starting over—and succeeding—again and again.

I was born in Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia, and from early on I was curious about the world. After studying acting and working as a model in Russia, I felt the pull to see more, do more, experience more. So I started moving. And I didn’t stop.

Over the years, I’ve lived in nine different countries, visited more than forty, and worked over thirty completely different jobs—from acting and producing to teaching public speaking, networking, and even some wild ones in between. I’ve gone from Russia to Thailand, China, Germany, Switzerland and finally the United States—first California, and now Las Vegas, where I live with my husband and son.

Every move was a reset: new language, new culture, new social rules, new everything. Sometimes I arrived with almost nothing—just a suitcase and a lot of determination. And every single time, I figured out how to fit in, build connections, create opportunities, and not just survive, but succeed.

That’s exactly why I wrote my book, *From Zero to Hero in New Places*. It’s the playbook I wish I’d had back then—all the practical, useful steps for adapting fast, networking boldly, presenting yourself confidently, and turning any new place into your place. It’s packed with my funniest mistakes, unexpected wins, and the real stories of people I’ve helped along the way. It’s already available for pre-order.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
A lot of struggles, mistakes, broken heart and disappointments. But that all shaped me and my destiny.
I had a lot of scams, was robbed, betrayed by friends and lovers. But I knew I had to keep going.

Today, I’m an author, speaker, and coach helping others do the same—whether they’re moving countries, changing careers, or just wanting to level up in a new environment. And honestly? I’m still moving, still learning, still succeeding. Because once you know how to go from zero to hero anywhere, the world feels wide open.
