Today we’d like to introduce you to Aram Eranosian.
Hi Aram, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up surrounded by creativity and hands-on work. I started with drawing and later worked closely with my father, learning how ideas can be transformed into tangible objects. That early experience shaped my appreciation for craftsmanship, precision, and thoughtful design.
My path into jewelry began through apprenticeship, where I learned traditional bench skills and developed a deep respect for the process behind fine work. While training, I worked full-time to support myself, balancing long shifts with learning the craft — driven by a quiet determination to master it properly.
I opened my first small workshop at a young age and later faced the challenge of starting over after relocating to the United States. Rebuilding my life and work in Orange County pushed me to refine both my skills and my values. Today, I work as an independent jeweler, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern tools to create pieces that are intentional, durable, and meaningful.
What guides my work now is the belief that jewelry should carry integrity, story, and purpose — not just visual beauty. Every piece I create reflects that journey and philosophy.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and later moved with my family to Moscow. From an early age, creativity was a natural part of my life. I began with drawing, which became a way to express ideas and emotions, and later worked closely with my father, learning how imagination can be transformed into real, tangible objects.
My father was both an artist and an engineer, and from him I learned to value precision as much as creativity. Together, we created handcrafted furniture and decorative objects, and through that process I developed a deep respect for craftsmanship, structure, and thoughtful design.
My path into jewelry began unexpectedly through an apprenticeship. At first, I knew nothing about the craft, but I became fascinated by the transformation of raw metal into meaningful pieces. While learning, I worked full-time on rotating shifts to support myself, often balancing long nights with training during the day. That period shaped my discipline and commitment to mastering the craft properly.
I opened my first small workshop at the age of eighteen and gradually built a full production process, combining traditional bench skills with modern tools such as 3D modeling and digital design. Over time, my studio grew, and my work expanded internationally through both physical jewelry and digital models.
In 2022, I relocated to the United States and had to start over once again — personally and professionally. Rebuilding my life and work in Orange County was challenging, but it refined my values and approach. Today, I work as an independent jeweler, creating custom pieces that combine traditional craftsmanship, modern technology, and long-term durability.
What guides my work now is the belief that jewelry should carry integrity, meaning, and purpose — not just visual appeal. Every piece I create reflects that philosophy and the journey behind it.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about AVELORÉA Fine Jewelry?
AVELORÉA Fine Jewelry is an independent fine jewelry studio based in Orange County, focused on custom jewelry, restoration, and small-batch handcrafted pieces. The brand is built around traditional bench craftsmanship combined with modern tools such as CAD modeling and digital design.
What truly sets my work apart is the personal, hands-on approach at every stage. I work directly with each client and personally handle the entire process — from concept and 3D design to fabrication and finishing. This allows me to understand not only what a piece should look like, but who it is for.
Jewelry is deeply personal. Before designing, I take time to learn about the client’s character, lifestyle, and story, and translate those emotions into form and structure. I place strong emphasis on durability, internal construction, and long-term wearability — creating pieces meant to be worn and lived with, not just admired briefly.
I’m most proud of maintaining an independent, craft-driven practice in an industry increasingly shaped by mass production. AVELORÉA is about integrity, meaning, and creating jewelry that carries both technical precision and human emotion.
We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending time with my father, creating and repairing things together. Whether it was carving wood or fixing electronics, I felt a deep sense of joy watching something broken or imagined come back to life. I especially remember the excitement of repairing our television on my own and realizing how things work from the inside. That curiosity and love for hands-on creation stayed with me and eventually became the foundation of my work today.
