Hidden Gems: Meet Adrian Sosebee of eat the works app

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Sosebee.

Hi Adrian, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My story begins in Atlanta at age 9 orchestrating he-man toys into elaborate scenes photographed on my poloroid camera in the pre internet era of the 1980’s and 90’s. This is where my journey to be creative director began my mission to tell stories with visuals. My parents constantly encouraged my creativity. Thw belief I could do anything instilled in my from a young age by my supportive parents. They sacrificed everything for my education and will be forever in debt to them.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The struggles along the way have been facing insecurities and imposter syndrome and not asking for enough money. Age and experience give you confidence and I’ve overcome the self doubt that once plagued me in youth.

We’ve been impressed with eat the works app, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Eat the Works app is in (beta) now and it is a global app for food trucks, pop ups, and independent food vendors looking for a marketplace and GPS map locator. Vendors can sign up for free and list and schedule their food truck or pop up and foodies can find them and connect to google maps to find their exact location. Today on social media their is just noise with vendors posting daily into the void and we wanted to provide a central location and build a community for vendors. We plan on doing this in stages with over 10 vendors joining the first month. We feel there is a gap in the market for vendors not represented on Uber Eats and also not wanting to pay 30% in fees. We plan on being vendor friendly and charge reduced fee on orders. For now at this stage the app is just free marketing and with our new scheduling feature as a vendor you can schedule in 60 seconds 6 months of listing on the app that you can then set and forget and let your customers find you. The app was developed in Louisiana but can be used by anyone try it today at eattheworksapp dot com.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
My favorite child hood memory is going to the Outerbanks, NC with my family for summer vacation in the 90’s my favorite part was trying to learn how to surf and eating turkey sandwiches on the beach.
