Today we’d like to introduce you to Vadym Krasnenko.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My story began in Kropyvnytskyi, a city in the Center of Ukraine. When I was 5 years old, my mom took me to a sports school to sign me up for swimming classes. But they only accepted kids starting at age 6. Not wanting to waste time, my mom signed me up for gymnastics instead—and that moment changed my life.

What started as a twist of fate quickly became a lifelong passion. After many years of intense training, hard work, and dedication, I earned a place on the National Olympic Team of Ukraine at age 12 years old. It was an incredible journey that taught me discipline, perseverance, and the power of believing in yourself.

In 2011, I received an opportunity that would take my journey in a new direction—I was invited to work as a coach at Monarchs Gymnastics. That step brought me into a community where I could share my experience, inspire the next generation, and eventually grow into a leadership role I’m deeply proud of today.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course road not always was smooth, some times it really bumpy.

By 2022, I felt ready for a new challenge and considered leaving coaching to pursue stunt work and acting. But a conversation with Yelena, Monarchs’ Head Coach and Owner at that time, changed everything—she encouraged me to stay, with a new vision for my future.

That moment opened the door for me to step into leadership and ownership. Today, I’m proud to help lead Monarchs as a place filled with passion, purpose, and memories for generations to come.
