Today we’d like to introduce you to Tim Russell Sr.
Hi Tim, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My story is quite unique, I originally was going to go to law school, but my uncle who was in real estate and various other associates always told me I would do well in real estate. I obviously knew nothing about building my own business, so I took the leap of faith and got my real estate license. I started off obviously with no clients and only doing leases, but with being persistent and the help of social media, I was able to grow my business exponentially.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It most obviously wasn’t a smooth road, as an agent you work for free because it is commission based and you don’t see a dollar until a deal closes. Some of the struggles a new agent may face or any entrepreneur is that no one knows who you are, so it is paramount you constantly market yourself and your business while keeping your sphere of influence in the know.

I specialize in luxury real estate and first-time home buyers. But my business doesn’t stop there for my exclusive clients; I offer high-end luxury motor vehicles, private aviation, and yachting. I’m your one stop shop for the LA lifestyle. What I’m most proud of about my brand is that it’s constantly evolving and that we truly go above and beyond for all our clients.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I think being able to be a good listener and communicating are key to success, also never being satisfied with getting better and wanting to learn more.
