Exploring Life & Business with Tarah Jade of Tarah Jade

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tarah Jade.

Hi Tarah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
i wanted to be a singer/performer for as long as i could form thoughts and words . i told my mom at 4 what i wanted to do with my life and she provided the programs to help me flourish. piano , voice and dance lessons. i continued on with those programs for years until i felt i had the ability to use those skills to create my own art. i started composing my own music by the time i was about 10 years old. as the years went by the passion grew . by the time high school hit i started a punk/alternative band with my friends and we went on to do a bunch of house shows and bar gigs. eventually a year or so into that i decided to go solo again and started to learn how to produce. i was 17 at the time. fast forward 2022 i dropped my first solo bedroom album which was predominantly made in Atlanta which landed me management by KLEF$ (In LA) Through the last few years we have been working on my debut album, music videos, social media and exposure. I just recently signed over to a new management and looking forward to exploring this new endeavor and adventure . This year i want to get involved with sync licensing, drop my official debut album and focus on more live shows. this is just the beginning of Tarah Jade!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
to be honest it’s been far from smooth. but that’s apart of the journey. Most of my struggles came from trying to build the correct team
Some disappointing transactions and outcomes.
Mostly a lot of people that pretend they are something that they are not , but as we know the industry can be a grimy place. . you make mistakes, you learn and you persevere!
In my opinion if you don’t have to work hard for it and it falls in your lap you don’t appreciate it as much . i feel blessed for every step in my journey that brings me closer to my dreams. you have to celebrate even the small wins !

i’m a pretty open book to be honest . i never hide parts of myself nor felt shame for any parts of me . im unapologetically myself . but on a unserious note my toes are double jointed and can do some pretty weird tricks with them ! lol
