Exploring Life & Business with Shannon Mann

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon Mann.

Shannon Mann

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I am the face of Oysters to Pearls, a lifestyle blog inspiring and encouraging midlife women to embrace the second half of their life with zest – try new things, travel, and be the best version of yourself. After my journey with breast cancer, I live every day to the fullest and encourage other women to do the same.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
After my breast cancer diagnosis in 2021, I reevaluated and prioritized my life. I pray that through this battle, I am able to inspire, serve, and love others well!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I have been a court stenographer for over 30 years, creating verbatim transcripts specializing in medical malpractice. When my daughter went away to college, I recognized early on that I wanted to recreate myself in this season of life. I felt that through my early professional career and an interest in fashion, I could tap into the world of midlife blogging and influencing, and I have never looked back.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Oysters to Pearls has a presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, and a website www.oysterstopearls.com.
