Exploring Life & Business with Raquel Arnette of RA ImageZ LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Raquel Arnette.

Raquel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My story is definitely not the typical one. Everything really started with TME News and my vision for building a media and entertainment platform that combined storytelling, visuals, culture, media, and real-life experiences. I’ve been a photographer and videographer for over 15 years, and in 2018 I officially created RA ImageZ LLC to expand my work into photography, videography, branding, production, and entertainment media. Over time, both companies became connected through one larger creative vision — using visuals, storytelling, interviews, branding, and media coverage to inspire, inform, and create impact.

My passion for entertainment, storytelling, acting, music, and being an artist started long before the companies existed. It began in elementary school, continued through high school, and followed me into college. But honestly, life became my greatest teacher. I learned through experience, through observing people, through moving through different industries, and through creating opportunities for myself when doors weren’t always open.

A lot of people don’t fully know me yet, and that has been intentional. I’ve always moved differently. I enjoy the simple things in life, but I also understand how to operate behind the scenes while building something meaningful. I don’t believe everything has to be loud to be powerful. I want my work to inspire people, motivate them, and activate something inside of them creatively, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through TME News and RA ImageZ, I’ve had the opportunity to cover a wide range of entertainment, political, sports, fashion, and cultural events across the country. My work has included red carpets, celebrity interviews, fashion weeks, film festivals, political events, celebrity boxing events, press conferences, and major entertainment productions. I’ve covered White House press briefings, presidential debates involving Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, and political figures including President Barack Obama, President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, Senator Jackie Rosen, and running for Congress Bobby Khan.

I’ve also interviewed a variety of entertainers, athletes, influencers, and public figures including rapper Coolio, Rashad Haughton (Aaliyah’s brother), Nick Turturro, Peter Gunz, celebrity boxing and X Rumble owner Damon Feldman, comedian Shiggy, MMA fighter Dakota Ditcheva, boxing coach Larry Wade, NBA legend Gary Payton, influencer Shabazz The OG, and WNBA champion Aisha Sheppard, to name a few.

In addition to media and journalism, I’ve also worked in production and entertainment behind the scenes. My experience includes background work, production assistant work, and production support on major projects including the TV series Ray Donovan, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, The Family Plan starring Mark Wahlberg, Venom: The Last Dance, Jason Bourne, and the upcoming Apple TV+ series Lucky scheduled for release in July 2026.

My experiences are vast, layered, and constantly evolving. I’ve worked in front of the camera, behind the scenes, in media rooms, on red carpets, on production sets, and within branding and business development. I help businesses and brands elevate their presence online and in person while continuing to expand my own creative ventures.

Now I’m stepping into an even bigger phase of my journey. I’m preparing to launch a new business in Los Angeles that will combine social media, entertainment, branding, visuals, production, and creative strategy all under one umbrella. I’m also currently working on a television series that people will learn more about very soon.

I know my story may sound different from most, but that’s because I was never meant to follow a traditional path. Everything I’m building has purpose behind it, and this is only the beginning.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it definitely has not been a smooth road, and honestly, I think that’s what shaped me into who I am today. A lot of people see the cameras, the celebrities, the red carpets, the interviews, and the productions, but they don’t see the sacrifices, the betrayal, the pressure, the isolation, and the obstacles that happen behind the scenes.

Building TME News and RA ImageZ LLC came with a lot of challenges. I had to learn how to navigate industries where not everyone wants to see you succeed, especially when you’re building independently and moving differently from the norm. There were times when people doubted me, tried to block opportunities, copied ideas, manipulated situations, or underestimated my vision because they couldn’t fully understand what I was creating. I’ve dealt with fake support, people switching up once they saw growth happening, and environments that tested my mental strength and resilience.

One of the biggest struggles has been trying to protect my peace while also building publicly. I’m a very private person in many ways, and when your work starts getting attention, people become curious about your life, your movements, your business, and your purpose. Sometimes that attention comes with negativity, competition, jealousy, or misunderstanding. I’ve had moments where I felt like I had to move in silence and stay in the shadows just to protect my energy and my vision.

Financially, emotionally, and creatively, there were many moments where things became difficult. I’ve invested into projects, productions, travel, media coverage, equipment, branding, and opportunities without always having guaranteed support in return. There were times I had to keep going even when situations around me were falling apart or when people I trusted didn’t come through. But every setback taught me something valuable about business, people, loyalty, and purpose.

I’ve also had to balance many different worlds at once — media, entertainment, production, branding, politics, business, and creative storytelling — while continuing to evolve personally. Sometimes people only want to place you in one box, but I’ve never been just one thing. I’m constantly growing, learning, and reinventing myself.

Even through all the struggles, I never stopped creating. I kept showing up. I kept building. I kept networking. I kept finding ways to elevate myself and the people around me. Every challenge gave me more wisdom, more discernment, and more motivation to keep going.

At this point in my life, I understand that the journey was never supposed to be easy. Everything I experienced prepared me for the next level of what I’m building now.

We’ve been impressed with RA ImageZ LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is centered around media, entertainment, branding, photography, videography, and creative storytelling. I created my companies because I wanted to build platforms that allow people, brands, and businesses to elevate their visibility while also telling meaningful stories through visuals and media.

I specialize in entertainment media coverage, photography, videography, creative branding, digital content, interviews, event coverage, and production-related work. I also work closely with businesses, entrepreneurs, creatives, and public figures to help strengthen their image both online and in person. My work blends creativity with strategy, which allows me to approach projects from a different perspective than many traditional media or branding companies.

What sets me apart is my versatility and vision. I don’t like to stay in one box creatively. I understand how to combine storytelling, visuals, branding, social media, entertainment, and real-life experiences into something impactful. I focus heavily on authenticity, energy, and creating content that feels real and emotionally connected rather than overly manufactured.

I’m most proud of building my brands independently while continuing to grow and evolve over the years. Everything I’ve created came from persistence, consistency, networking, and believing in my vision even during difficult moments. I’m proud that my work has opened doors into different industries and allowed me to connect with a wide range of people and experiences.

I want readers to know that my brand is about more than photography or media coverage. It’s about creativity, elevation, storytelling, and helping people bring their ideas and vision to life. I’m continuing to expand into larger creative projects, entertainment ventures, and branding opportunities, and this is only the beginning of where the brand is headed.
I provide a unique approach to branding, marketing, and audience engagement by strategically identifying the best ways to position a brand, product, or service for visibility, growth, and sales. In today’s digital world, there are many different personalities and styles people present online, but there is always one common factor that captures attention — understanding what emotionally and visually connects with an audience.

Every audience responds differently, which means there is no one-size-fits-all strategy. Depending on the type of brand, service, or product you are promoting, it’s important to understand the market you’re trying to reach, what people are already drawn to, and how to present something in a fresh and unique way that stands out from the crowd.

What I specialize in is creating customized branding and marketing strategies that help businesses and individuals elevate their image, strengthen audience connection, and increase engagement. This can include visual branding, social media direction, content presentation, audience targeting, storytelling, creative campaigns, and overall brand positioning.

Because I have experience across multiple industries, I bring a broader understanding of how different audiences think, move, and respond. That diverse background allows me to recognize trends, understand consumer behavior, and identify what appeals to the masses while still helping a brand maintain originality and authenticity.

My goal is to help businesses, brands, and creators elevate their presence in a way that not only attracts attention, but also builds connection, trust, visibility, and long-term growth with the right audience and potential buyers.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I pull inspiration and knowledge from many different places because I believe growth comes from constantly learning, observing, and evolving. A lot of what helps me in business and in life comes from studying people, psychology, branding, storytelling, entertainment, and human behavior.

When it comes to apps and platforms, social media itself has become one of the biggest learning tools for me. Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X allow me to study trends, audience engagement, marketing strategies, visual presentation, and how culture shifts in real time. I also use editing and creative apps that help with photography, videography, branding, and content creation.

I enjoy podcasts and interviews that focus on entrepreneurship, entertainment, branding, motivation, psychology, and personal growth. I pay attention to conversations from successful creators, producers, artists, athletes, business owners, and people who think outside the box because I like understanding different perspectives and strategies.

Books and documentaries centered around mindset, business, storytelling, influence, creativity, and self-development have also helped shape how I approach life and business. But honestly, one of my biggest resources has been experience itself. Traveling, networking, working in different industries, meeting people from different backgrounds, and navigating real-life situations have taught me lessons that no classroom or textbook could fully provide.

I’m also someone who believes in intuition, observation, and self-awareness. Sometimes the greatest lessons come from silence, reflection, experiences, and understanding people on a deeper level. That combination of creativity, strategy, life experience, and constant learning is what helps me continue evolving both personally and professionally.
