Today we’d like to introduce you to Paige Zollars
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’ve always loved fashion & was fortunate to spend several years working with an LA-based designer, where I gained such invaluable experience. Being immersed in that world in Los Angeles inspired me to design clothes for myself, which eventually evolved into Gigi LA. I love to dress up & my goal is to make flattering, feminine & fun styles for women that are equally comfortable and enjoyable to wear – and of course ethically made here in Los Angeles!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The fashion industry is highly competitive and saturated, so one of the biggest challenges is breaking through as a new designer without getting caught up in comparison. Everything moves so fast that even great successes can feel fleeting. You have to believe in yourself at every step and keep pushing forward.
One of my main priorities for Gigi is to work exclusively with LA-based, ethical manufacturing teams that uphold excellent quality standards. This didn’t come together immediately, but through trial and error, we were able to find exactly what we were looking for.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At Gigi LA, we focus on creating feminine silhouettes to take from day to night. Our garments are designed with the intention to equate comfort with confidence using silky soft fabrics. Every aspect of our brand—from fabric selection to design and production—is proudly based in Los Angeles.
The Gigi girl is bold, playful & full of life – she embraces every moment while always staying true to herself & having fun along the way. What makes us most proud is seeing the spark of joy & confidence our customers exude when they put on our garments. The moment they feel beautiful, empowered, and ready to take on their day is what Gigi is all about.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
The most important risk you can take for your business is simply to start—there’s never a perfect moment when everything aligns, and you feel 100% ready. We learned the most by putting our work out there, seeing what resonates with people, and listening to their feedback. Then we repeat that process again & again.
