Exploring Life & Business with Luisa Lucia of The Starlight Mystic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Luisa Lucia.

Hi Luisa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story. 
I spent my 20s working in fashion as a professional wardrobe stylist and did everything from celebrity styling to helping real people makeover their closets (and their lives). I was always into fashion and passionate about personal expression, but I had an underlying sense that something was missing. Then in my early 30s, I had an intense “dark night of the soul” that brought me to the edge of suicide, and I knew something in my life needed to shift drastically if I was going to survive. I had always been “spiritual,” but it was never at the forefront until I had to dive into the depths of my own healing. Through my own process of transformation, I realized (re-membered) one of my most profound gifts… my capacity as a healer, mystic, oracle. So, I re-trained and got certified in several modalities, including Life Coaching. By the time I did my training, I already had people knocking on my door to help them. These days, I specialize in two systems, Human Design, and Gene Keys, which serve as the focal point of my practice. Though I’m trained in several other modalities that I bring into supplement and support the bigger picture. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, LOL. The most important thing when you do this kind of work is walking the walk. This doesn’t mean you have to be perfect (not possible or even desirable), but you do have to be committed to your own journey and being the best you can possibly be for yourself and those you serve. It forces you to dive deep into your own shadow and live from a place of truth and integrity. I am constantly moving through layers of death and rebirth. And the universe constantly surprises me as I trust the unfolding. It’s a fascinating path but definitely not an easy one.

I help people from all walks of life to get clear and align with their deep soul truths. My primary purpose is to help you embody your highest incarnation in this lifetime. I am a Human Design specialist, first and foremost. This foundation provides the ultimate framework for soul awareness and alignment. From there, I incorporate targeted modalities to support your healing and expansion. My mission is rooted in service to the whole. Every person that I’m able to help elevate creates a ripple effect across the collective. By living my purpose, I help you to live yours, and that contributes to the collective evolution. I am deeply committed to and passionate about this work. 

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
“The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek.” That phrase (by Joseph Campbell) is literally tattooed on my arm. Growth doesn’t happen inside your comfort zone. Every great up-level is on the other side of a leap of faith. Risk is all about trusting your intuition. It’s not about taking risks foolishly or about trying to reason them through (because you can’t logic a risk – it’s unpredictable by nature). So, it’s really about tuning into your intuition and asking – is this right for me? Even though I can’t see the path ahead, does it FEEL right? The real question is, how much do you trust yourself? That’s what risk is really about. And one thing I do is help people build trust in their own inner knowing.
