I’ve always believed that a confident smile can transform a person’s life—and that belief has guided my entire professional journey.

After earning my doctorate and completing advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry, I opened Zakhor Dental Group in Westwood. My vision was simple: to combine clinical excellence with artistic precision, and to offer patients a dental experience rooted in trust, comfort, and world-class results.

Over the years, our reputation grew steadily, driven by our commitment to personalized care and beautiful, lasting outcomes. As we continued to expand our services and patient base, I made the decision to move the practice to Beverly Hills in 2022. This move allowed us to create a state-of-the-art facility and bring together a team of top-tier specialists offering everything from porcelain veneers and Invisalign to full-mouth rehabilitation and dental implants.

While the location has changed, the heart of the practice remains the same: delivering exceptional dentistry with integrity, passion, and a focus on transforming lives—one smile at a time.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road—but I believe the struggles shaped me as much as the successes.

Starting a practice from scratch in a competitive city like Los Angeles required more than just clinical skill—it demanded persistence, creativity, and a thick skin. Early on, I faced the typical challenges of building a reputation, managing overhead, and learning the business side of dentistry while continuing to deliver high-quality care.

When I made the decision to move Zakhor Dental Group from Westwood to Beverly Hills in 2022, it was both an exciting leap and a major test. The transition involved navigating permits, renovations, staff expansion, and reestablishing our presence in a new market—while still keeping up with patient care and high expectations.

On top of that, the pandemic years brought uncertainty, staffing shortages, and a need to rapidly adapt to new safety protocols and patient concerns. But every challenge pushed me to improve our systems, strengthen our team, and deepen my commitment to providing elite, patient-centered care.

Looking back, those hard moments taught me resilience, humility, and how to lead through change—qualities that continue to guide me every day.

We originally opened our doors in Westwood, but as demand for our work grew—especially among high-profile clients—we relocated to Beverly Hills in 2022 to better serve our expanding patient base and elevate the overall experience.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Finding the right mentor can have a lasting impact on both your career and your character. For me, that person was my orthodontist, Dr. Isaac Hakim. He’s been a guiding force in my life since I was just 13 years old—first as my orthodontist, and later as a mentor who helped me navigate the dental school admission process. His support, wisdom, and example played a huge role in shaping my path into dentistry.

What made Dr. Hakim such a powerful mentor wasn’t just his clinical expertise—it was his calm confidence, integrity, and the way he treated every patient with care and respect. Even now, after all these years, I continue to refer patients to him because I trust his work and know they’ll be in excellent hands.

If I had to offer advice to someone looking for a mentor, it would be this: seek out people who reflect the kind of professional—and person—you want to become. Approach them with humility, stay curious, and nurture the relationship with consistency and gratitude. Some of the best mentors aren’t always the loudest voices—they’re the ones who lead quietly by example, and who genuinely want to see you grow.
