Hi Christopher, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Sedated Ink was originally a concept I considered years ago. With years of experience being an anesthesiologist and pain specialist who gets tattoos, I wanted to combine those two passions into one. Most people think of tattoos under anesthesia as a service that only caters to celebrities and professional athletes, since that is what most of the media shows. However, the concept of Sedated Ink originally popped into my mind because I wanted to give clients who have real medical issues that might prevent them from getting tattooed, the same opportunity to have the artwork they’ve always dreamed of.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a very smooth road. This is because our team is tenacious and passionate about what we do – and I think that is very obvious to the artists and clients that we work with. We are working in a field that is getting a lot of media attention at the moment, and there are a lot of opinions. We are extremely grateful for the support that we have received thus far, and for the incredible team of artists that we work with.
