Exploring Life & Business with Carla Nolan of Carla Sells L.A. with eXp Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carla Nolan.

Hi Carla, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am Carla Nolan and I live in the Glendale area with my wife Angelica and son Austin. I’ve been a Real Estate agent for over ten years. I’m originally from the Maryland/DC area and this is where I started learning the business and fostering business relationships that would allow me to scale my business. After overcoming breast cancer stage 3A, I decided to follow one of my dreams to become a Real Estate agent. When one is faced with the possibility of death, the more clarity you have about actually living. I made one of the best decisions to live life to the fullest and that included jumping into Real Estate. I’ve received awards for the Top Agent for 2018/2019; Top award for increased business volume and Top 20 for GCI (gross commission income) growth of 2021.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road by no means. I’ve had my share of hurdles to jump over but the love of all things Real Estate has pulled me through. I take absolute pride in helping as many families as I can each year in owning a home, selling their home and both upsizing and downsizing. Being able to do what I love each day is a pure blessing and that is what keeps me going every day!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
We specialize in residential Real Estate. I have a small team that’s excellent in making sure our clients receive the best care whenever we are selling their home(s) or helping them purchase a new home. Our team of experts are extremely detail-oriented with an extreme prowess for digital marketing. This is what sets us apart from other agents, we are not behind the times with technology but we are on the cutting edge of it.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned in this business is treating every person you meet as a potential client. Building and maintaining long-term relationships is key to becoming a successful Real Estate agent. I don’t believe in luck when it comes to connections, I take them very seriously and I seek to help in any way I am able.
