Today we’d like to introduce you to ANDROMEDA STEVENS.

Hi ANDROMEDA, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started our pilates studio in 2000 to cater to our community who had requirements of highly killed instructors who could handle injuries, rehab, pre-and postnatal, scoliosis and to clients who wanted to feel safe and supported in a professional environment. Our studio is well maintained, managed by a chiropractic physician, upholds the most stringent standards of care, we educate our instructors every month with updated workshops and information. We host a well respected Pilates certification program and educate other instructors in our community with continuing education and resources.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Our biggest struggle has been Covid of course but we made it through with the support of our amazing community who trusted us with their health through the entire pandemic, even during lockdown we found safe ways to care for our dedicated clients.

What makes us different from the other Pilates Studios in the city is that first of all we have been around for over 26 years and have years of experience of running a business, taking the best care of our clients, rendering the safest Pilates and are not interested in large groups, loud music or Instagram. We have been perfecting our Pilates certification program to create the finest Pilates instructor graduates in the system and support them with education. Our clients have been with us for many years and have grown with us. We are very proud to have a 55+ community that loves their Pilates and feel safe and supported under our care. We are known for our education, our small class sizes and our catering to all the needs of our clients no matter their age or injury status.

How do you define success?
Success means our clients stay with us here after a year. It’s not about money or having the fanciest studio or being instagram famous. What is success to us are happy and dedicated clients who feel the rewards of our services.
