Enedawry Santana of Southern California on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Enedawry Santana. Check out our conversation below.

Hi Enedawry, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
Far too often, people lose the biggest battle to themselves. I realized that the way I spoke to myself was either building me or breaking me, long before the world ever had a say. Once I changed that internal conversation, my perspective shifted. That inner work became the foundation for everything else I’ve built and is oftentimes what I encourage others to be conscious of.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Enedawry Santana. I run a creative ad agency called Dinero Primero Studios. I build brands that win, systems that convert, and content that stands out. My work lives at the crossroads of creative strategy, emerging trends, and personal development.

Crazy to think I used to just be the homie who films live shows and music videos. Being able to experience the blessings I live in today is something I don’t take lightly, and I give all glory to God.

What truly sets me apart is my why. Watching my parents sacrifice to create a better future for my siblings and myself continues to be the driving force behind everything I build. When your dad used to get soap for Christmas as a kid, you take it personal when it comes to showing them how great of a job they did raising me.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Before I fully believed in what was possible for myself, my dad saw it clearly. He never wanted me to waste the opportunity I’d been given. When I was thinking in terms of safety and security, he challenged me with a simple question: “What do you have to lose?” That belief and support gave me the courage to take life by the horns.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
No. Giving up was never an option.

We have more resources and tools at our disposal than ever before. You either find results or you find excuses. The choice is yours.

Don’t abandon your responsibility, no matter what.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
You may think powering through life makes you brave, but it only proves you have failed to plan.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that my belief outweighed others’ perceptions and that’s what made me successful. That I wasn’t afraid to take the opposing side, whether or not people agreed with me, not to be divisive but to understand more deeply. I hope they remember my unquenchable thirst for knowledge and self development, and above all, that I loved my family.
