Today we’d like to introduce you to Zoe Klopfer.
Hi Zoe, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
When everyone was picking up new hobbies in 2020, I decided to dive into real estate. I was the first in my family to become an agent, inspired to get my license so I could help my family source investment properties and be part of the deal-making process. With so many shutdowns at the time, I was told I’d have to wait months to take my exam—but I was determined. I found one open testing slot in Sacramento, booked a road trip, and passed on my first attempt. By the summer of 2021, I was officially licensed and began using my background in marketing and viral social media to grow my real estate business and sell homes.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth start. It took me about six months to really find my niche and figure out which clients and transactions I worked best with. Over time, I discovered that my strengths shine when working with investors, developers, off-market opportunities, high-end luxury properties, and first-time homebuyers — and those have become my main clientele today.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m most proud of how I’ve been able to fully immerse myself in real estate and merge it with my background in social media marketing to become a powerhouse agent. Social media is a huge part of my business — it allows me to connect with new clients in unique ways, create standout content, and market listings that rack up viral views. The result? More eyes on my properties, more foot traffic through the door, and ultimately, more offers for my clients.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
Don’t be afraid to try new things! A few years ago, I was the first in my area to start incorporating myself into my real estate content — and, honestly, I used to get made fun of for it. Other agents would laugh or give me funny looks when I showed up to open houses or broker tours with a tripod, filming myself. But once the content started taking off and gaining traction, things changed fast. I even walked into a broker open one day to see another agent with a full production team — and a hired model who looked just like me — recreating the same format I’d been doing. It’s funny how it goes: first they mock, then they copy. So don’t be afraid to try new marketing — you might just start the next trend.
