Today we’d like to introduce you to Shira Mansuri

Hi Shira, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well I’ve been just obsessed with the beauty world since I was in 7th grade I want to say. I would always always always watch any beauty influencer, james charles, Jeffrey Star, ETC. I kind of just learned through that and I wouldn’t say I was always good but I did have the skill. Then growing up I would do everyone’s hair and makeup. To a point I realized I’m pretty talented and should do it for a living, on top of that I have always been pretty skilled at editing and making content so that came in handy.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not necessarily struggles I have been quite fortunate when it comes to purchasing supplies and other things required for the field. However going more professional than just doing it on my friends and family was definitely different and nerve racking. It is definitely a learning process and experience that every single appointment and client teaches me along the way.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I mean aside from the hair and makeup I do some social media it is still fresh and new and I am still trying to find my niche and what my audience like seeing from me most.

How do you think about luck?
To be honest and I could be wrong but I feel like being Jewish has played a part for sure. I mean in my community the words spreads fast so word to mouth has been incredibly helpful when acquiring new clients. other than that having a loving and supportive family is a complete blessing, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
