Daily Inspiration: Meet Nicolle Saba

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicolle Saba.

Hi Nicolle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Venezuela, at ten years old I moved to Miami with my family. I spoke no English and had no family other than my mom and my dad. It was very hard but exciting at the same time because I knew that I was going to be exposed to a lot of new opportunities, and the dreams that once felt impossible started to feel closer.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Moving to a different country is never easy, especially when there is a language barrier. At first, I felt very alone but as years passed and I started to make more friends and get more comfortable things started to go by smoother for me and I was able to grow a lot and focus on my passions and dreams!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Venezuelan Artist. I make Latin music. I am a single mother as well. I am proud of how far I have come despite all the obstacles I had to deal with and the fact that I still get up every time and chose to pursue my dream because I have a vision. My daughter is my biggest inspiration; she makes me want to do better and work harder

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory was flying around la gran sabana in Venezuela with my dad in his helicopter, going to the angel falls and growing up in nature. Getting to explore with my dad and mom in canaima and tumeremo.
