Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Hargreaves
Hi Brandon, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I have been valuing real estate properties for the past 20+ years throughout California. I have expanded my career in real estate becoming a licensed real estate agent in 2021 as well as currently real estate investing. I have coached thousands of people on valuing real estate, including zoom calls, in class presentations as well as in person events.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The ride in real estate has not always been smooth. I began back in 2003 as a real estate appraiser and have seen the market change drastically throughout my career, including the market crash at 2009 which changed the whole value profession. Another struggle within the appraisal industry is the inconsistency of the work loads. Which in the past I viewed as a curse, however the inconsistency forced me to “burn the boat” and transition into so much more in the real estate space. So for that I am forever grateful….
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a real estate investor with over 20+ years in valuing real estate. I have physically inspected over 10,000 properties working along lenders/real estate agents.
Within the past 3 years I have transitioned into more of a consultant/coaching role where I educate investors and all other real estate professionals on the true fundamentals of valuing real estate. Providing my clients with the tools on how to efficiently and effectively value properties for their specific investment.
In addition, over the past 12 months I have been working closely with Real Estate Investors documenting their entire (Fix&Flip) process through our Media division Homebuilt Productions. With the current climate of real estate and how imperative it is to get exposure through social media, I built a team to capture “THE REAL” in Real Estate; creating social media campaigns for clients projects. Bottom line I love People and I love Real Estate!! I am blessed that I have my valuation background to bring these 2 passions of mine together!!!
