Daily Inspiration: Meet Bigg Jigg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bigg Jigg.

Hi Bigg, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started back in like 2004 in the music business I was BET 106npark freestyle champion in 2006 for 4 weeks in a row then I went on to be signed to koch records which is now E1 back in 2008 then in 2010 I went on to sign to Bungalo records then I signed with legendary Dr Dre oldest son Curtis young to forever young ent currently I’m with my label go2manmusic group/Carter Block out of Bay Area in conjunction with UMG & Empire I currently have a hit record out now called “Drip” and I’m gearing up to drop the remix to drip ft Gorilla zoe & 2Chainz I have been on 50 plus mag covers to date and won 3 different awards this year alone so far

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely has not been a smooth ride it’s been rough to build loyal teams I always build them then it goes rocky because somebody always wants to be bigger than the program which in possible and just last 2 yrs have been crazy with having 3 major surgeries and loosing my left foot thank Gordon back out here touring again and I hope my story is something that will have people motivated to never give up no matter wat

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a national recording artist that has been in the music industry for over 20 yrs now I was Bet 106npark freestyle champion in 2006 I have been on 50 plus magazines world wide to date I have won numerous awards and 3 this year alone and I’m currently signed to Carter block in the Bay Area & umg/Empire I am extremely proud that my single Drip is number 59 on iTunes top 100 and we are gearing up to drop the remix ft Gorilla zoe & 2Chainz and wat sets me apart is I never give up no matter how bad or good the situation is and I also have. Big podcast called Talk2emjigg podcast were I have interviewed Alist artist and actors such as omar Gooding and Cuba Gooding Jr and artist like the group goodie mob

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Good luck and bad luck has been a fortune and miss fortune for me some things that were good was good and things that have been bad I still worked thru them to come out on top
