Daily Inspiration: Meet Abigail Gazda

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail Gazda.

Hi Abigail, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
The constant evolution of my career has been such a challenging and equally inspiring journey. I am from the Midwest and moved to Southern California in 2017. I have been very nomadic for the past 5 years and my gypsy journey has evolved as much as my business, Hearts Unleashed.

I am a Clarity Coach, best-selling author, podcast host, and publisher. In the last 5 years, I have lived in Indiana, California, Oregon, Arizona, Mexico, and Costa Rica. I went from apartment hopping to share my books in different cities down to Airbnb stays with two suitcases and my laptop. I have been living as a digital nomad and in the beginning of 2022, decided it was finally time to combine my desire for some stability with how much my career keeps me on the road.

I spent 4 months of summer 2022 converting a brand-new Ford Transit van into my first home (on wheels, that is). I completed the van build and have been publishing the entire journey on my YouTube channel: Abigail Rose Gazda. I also share a ton of the journey on Instagram @_instagail_

As a coach and nomad, I share travel and transformation. When I first started coaching, back in 2016, I had a bit of trouble putting into words exactly how life-changing the inner work can be. Instead, I vowed to display all that can become possible when you heal from trauma and the pain of resentment. I wanted people to know that there is life beyond struggling in silence and that we can truly make a living being ourselves; living unleashed.

I coach leaders in all industries make the impact and leave the legacy they have dedicated their lives to. I help writers and world changers publish their books and share the missions and messages I feel inspired about.

I travel full-time in my van, speaking all over the country, and yet, still consider Southern California “my soul’s home.” I will be traveling the entire Cali coast all winter on tour, surfing, golfing, rollerblading, and writing new books at the water’s edge. I love connecting with leaders along the way so feel free to connect with me on social media.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Haha! “Smooth” is a very relative perspective! It certainly hasn’t felt smooth but that doesn’t mean I haven’t done my best to ride every wave that has come crashing down on me. From debt, disappointment, and despair to incredible triumphs, six-figure years, to best-selling books, I believe that everyone must face certain losses and initiations that prepare them to receive the blessings they pray for.

As I mentioned, I had a hard time *explaining* the benefits of inner work at first, so I dedicated my life to *displaying* the benefits of inner work. This strategy put me first in line for judgement, criticism, doubt, and nay-sayers. Voluntarily living a public life means you are granting people access to offer their feedback about it, whether you ask for it or not. I had to hold a vision far before its manifestation and there were people in my life or following along on social media who (rightfully so) couldn’t see what I was in my head and heart.

This forced me to calibrate to my own moral compass and find my personal true north in life, love, and business. It took a lot of tears, shedding, releasing, forgiving, and moving on but I always kept going and the path continuously has revealed itself to me. The way was always made clear.

During the years of building, I was blessed with inspired friends, colleagues, and mentors who jumped on board this transformation train long before the masses. Together, we built a global company with global impact.

One of the biggest struggles has been in the faith and surrender it has required to hold a vision so boldly before its tangible appearance and seeming silly, crazy, irresponsible, lofty, and downright insane. To proceed (even beyond my own doubts) has proven worth it, every single time.

There is no struggle that would stop me from living the most authentic expression of my heart and sharing it with the world.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a Clarity Coach, my areas of expertise are Emotional Intelligence and Subconscious Reprogramming. Most of us have an idea about what we want in life but seem blocked in creating it. I help people clear the path to head in the direction they desire most or feel called toward.

An undiscovered result of this work is people releasing conditioned expectations of ‘success’ and becoming more clear on their own, personal version of success and going after it boldly.

From a very young age, I thought I would be a traditionally powerful leader on a stage with flashy lighting and millions of people clamoring over every inspirational word dripping out of my mouth. As I actually became a coach, that idea became sort of repulsive to me. I admire those leaders in their own way, but I quickly realized that wasn’t the most authentic version of success to me. Once I figure that out, I adjusted my focus.

I focused on authentic connection, intimacy, safety, self-expression, gentleness, and community. I focused on others dreams coming true and walking the journey together. I felt softer in my approach and started to nurture the feminine side of my leadership.

It led to a much richer experience of my work. When I gave up the need to impress in my career with following or accolades, I became very impressed with how easy success came to me. I fell in love with writing, coaching, speaking, and publishing in a whole new way that has led to immeasurable success in a career and lifestyle that brings me complete joy and satisfaction.

I am my best client and because I have gone through my own journey of following my heart, I have been able to lead others to success and impact, far beyond their personal and conditioned limitations.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
I am going to rattle off my favorite pieces of advice all at once because they are so related but important as individual statements as well.

“The only way to fail is to quit”

“Just show up”

“Just take the next right step”

I mentioned the faith and surrender I have developed and practiced throughout my journey. I have given up trying to predict and create the future. God/Spirit/Universe has proven time and time again that I cannot possibly dream as big as it has to offer. So instead, I have promised to hold the visions planted on my heart, surrender the outcome, and follow my intuition when it urges me.

My suggestion is get very clear about how it would *feel* to manifest your wildest dreams and then master feeling that way. When you feel as good as your dream life activates within you, you WILL manifest a dreamy life that can turn out even better than you would have ever planned for. If you surrender the specifics of your vision, you will experience something greater. Just show up, every day. I believe that the one who ‘wins’ is the one who plays the longest.
