Good morning Crystal, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work, reading is really bringing me joy! I love reading all types of genres and stories but mostly fantasy. I love the story and world building aspects that it can bring and they can also sometimes help you work through you own things through the story.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello readers! I have been doing hair and makeup for about 12 years now and I absolutely love it! When I first started I worked mostly print jobs such as commercial work/small clothing brands with models and then I expanded into the bridal world and just totally fell in love with it so then started focusing all my time towards that and have been working mostly exclusivley in the bridal world for about 9 years. I fell in love with well, love but also getting to connect with people on such a special day. I get to have some really nice personal conversations with people and hear about their lives which I find so beautiful.

Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
One of my past roommates and still a great friend, Chelsea. She really gave me the hope and confidence that I should pursure makeup as a career!

When you were sad or scared as a child, what helped?
As a child but even to this day, praying to the Lord and reading my bible has always helped me when I am feeling sad or scared. He has helped me get through so many ups and downs in life and I know that He will help me get through all of the things to come.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
God. He will always direct my path and open the doors that I am meant to walk through.

I would stop worrying. It gets you nowhere and it wastes time, energy and hard earned brain space.
