Hi Snacks and Lex, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story. 
We are Snacks and Lex, popular family content creators known as ‘snacksandlex’ on social media. We are active on all platforms, including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Our journey into the world of social media began with a shared passion for entertainment. With 4 million followers across platforms, we’ve become one of the most beloved content creator duos on TikTok, letting our playful personalities shine through in our comedy and lifestyle videos. 

Both of us have backgrounds in the marketing and entertainment industry. Snacks gained popularity in the Hip-hop scene, showcasing his talent for creating engaging and entertaining skits on platforms like Vine and Instagram, which garnered him a devoted fanbase. Lex has a Mass Communication/Broadcast News degree, having previously worked for a popular radio station in Minneapolis. She has a love for writing and creating content. 

Snacks, intrigued by the potential of video content creation, one day asked Lex, ‘Do you want to start making videos on Triller?’ And just like that, the duo was born. Snacks brought his wealth of content ideas, while Lex seamlessly handled the editing side of the creative process. It was a perfect match—a partnership that would set the stage for our online brand, ‘snacksandlex’. 

We initially launched our creative journey on Triller and soon expanded our presence to platforms like YouTube and Instagram. However, just before the pandemic, we discovered TikTok. Eager to explore new horizons, we began posting short-form content in 2020, and our unique brand of humor found its home on the rapidly growing platform.

Our content is all about the funny side of home life and the quirks of being a family. We love turning everyday situations into comedy gold, and it turns out people love it! Life as “snacksandlex” is a fun ride. We’ve learned, laughed, and grown alongside our awesome audience of 4M followers across all platforms. Each day brings new challenges but also fresh opportunities to connect through humor and shared experiences. 

One of our most outstanding videos is the “Water Bed Prank.” The effort and dedication Snacks put into its production were truly impressive. Lex’s priceless reaction added an extra layer of fun, making it our most viral video across all platforms to date. This hilarious and entertaining video certainly stands out as a highlight of our content.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our journey to create the business ‘snacksandlex’ was fun but far from a smooth ride! When we first started to create content, we were essentially hitting the reset button. Both of us had established careers before crossing paths, and we became parents to our son even before jumping into the world of online content. Starting anew meant balancing two full-time jobs and parenthood while pursuing our dream of making content creation a full-time career. 

Lex was working outside the home, while Snacks took charge of staying home with our son, all the while juggling the responsibilities of content creation. Our days were a whirlwind of work, parenting, and creating content during the precious moments when our son was sleeping. The evenings were dedicated to editing and posting our content, with Lex seizing every break at work to keep creating content. The journey may not have been a smooth road, but every step has been a vital part of our story. In the end, it was a lot of work, but it paid off in the long run! 

Building a brand on multiple platforms also presented its own obstacles. Each platform has its unique features and audience expectations. Balancing our authentic voice with the demands of various platforms required strategic thinking and a keen understanding of our audience across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

We’re Snacks and Lex, the owners of the social media brand “snacksandlex” and we proudly call ourselves entertainers—making people laugh is what we live for! Our niche is family content, and we’re most known for the wild pranks we play on each other. Honestly, it’s a miracle our marriage survived because the pranks get wild around here! 

What makes us beam with pride is our entire social media journey. It’s been a winding road, but we succeeded with consistency and perseverance. The growth we’ve seen is not just in numbers but in the sense of accomplishment for staying true to ourselves. 

One thing that sets us apart is our ability to juggle multiple platforms simultaneously. We are consistent across all these platforms TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. And our unique personalities shine through in every piece of content. Our video ‘Asking Snacks to Skip’ holds a special place for us. It shows our personalities and embodies the essence of our content, capturing moments of silliness as we have fun together, with Snacks’ endearing lack of coordination adding a hilarious touch.

Speaking of personalities, that’s our secret. We firmly believe that no two people are the same and that authenticity is what sets us apart. Whether we’re pranking each other or just being ourselves, our content is a true reflection of who we are. On and off social media, we remain the same goofy, loving couple our followers have come to know. 

Our main goal from the get-go was simple: be ourselves. We’ve managed to stay true to that, and it’s been a fantastic journey. We had the chance to work with brands like Arby’s, Gain, Dawn, Disney, Starz, Outback Steakhouse, and Sony to name a few, and we’ve always aimed to remain authentic. We’ve laughed, we’ve grown, and we’ve kept it real. The joy we bring to others is what keeps us going, and we’re excited to see where this entertaining ride takes us next! 

Any big plans?
Looking ahead, our primary focus is to keep the momentum going and further expand our brand “snacksandlex”. We’re committed to creating content that people genuinely enjoy watching, with each video bringing a smile to our audience, gathering over 78M likes on TikTok so far! 

Excitingly, we plan more travel adventures. Exploring different places, experiencing diverse cultures, and, of course, documenting it all to share with our audience is on our list. We can’t wait to bring our followers along for the ride! 

While we are grateful for the growth we’ve achieved so far, we’re always open to new opportunities and challenges, more laughter, love, and exciting adventures with Snacks and Lex!
