Today we’d like to introduce you to Shenequa Calander.

Hi Shenequa, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, my name is Shenequa Calander… I was born in Washington DC… My birthday is January 23, 1989… aka SheInspires…. well, I don’t really know what story to talk about so I’ll just sum it all up and tell the story of she… So life is just life and a lot of times you just have to smile through it… I have multiple sclerosis and every day I have to rely on God in his strength so that I can keep going… What she stands for his strength, honesty and entertainment… I love to inspire the world because there is just too much hatred, sadness, and bad things going on… when I first got diagnosed with multiple sclerosis I knew that everything was gonna be different for me my family and for the world… I may have been born with it and I guess that’s how I’m able to be so strong… I know that there’s nothing that can be done at the moment until a cure but until then she spreads awareness as well. I really really hope I’m not being choppy and sharing my story… In all actuality there’s nothing really to it but to just keep on living right… The way I see it if no one is around and you fall down you have to find a way to get back up… of course I was sad about it when the doctor came in and told me that I had it… But me being an influencer I knew that I had to spread the awareness in the best way I knew how… I really really really appreciate you for taking the time out to hear a little of my story… Please let me know if you need any more… Once again I apologize for my delay. Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road… Multiple sclerosis changes every day and although I may feel or walk or talk one way one day, it doesn’t mean that it’s gonna be the same way every day…🥳

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an influencer. I am a content creator… I inspire the world… I’m known for just being me… I truly love everybody and I have a heart of gold… Because Jesus wants us to love everybody and brotherly love… The thing that sets me apart from other people is I don’t do anything anybody else’s way… I follow the rules, but… I gotta make it work for me… I am the rule😊

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love the most about my city is everything… Except for the restaurants lol I was born in DC. I moved to Virginia now I’m in Maryland…
