Today we’d like to introduce you to Peter Roles

Hi Peter , we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Grew up in Hollywood, quit film school for the Mini DV/Final Cut Pro revolution, worked up through the ranks of production then lost it all, returning to the industry during Covid in the department of my dreams.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Long history of mental health and substance abuse which led to a rock bottom incarceration abroad, in Southeast Asia. From ashes to beauty I was redeemed into new life and sobriety nearly 9 years now.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an FPV pilot and crazy passionate about all things drone related. I specialize in cinematic aerial cinematography and am most proud of working at the most original company in the business, Drone Dudes. What sets us apart is we are down to earth humans in a sea of egos.
