Hi Melissa Ann, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
From small-town beauty queen to aesthetic RN, my journey has been anything but conventional. I began in pageantry, where I first discovered the power of presence and confidence. That path led me into nursing, where I specialized in aesthetics—blending science with beauty to help others feel empowered in their own skin. With years of dedication, I’ve since graced the covers of magazines in Los Angeles, stepped into the spotlight as an actress, and moved behind the scenes as a producer. Every step has been driven by passion, resilience, and the belief that beauty and strength are ageless.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I moved to California in 2010 with three children and a dream, I knew the path wouldn’t be easy—but I didn’t expect the mountain I’d have to climb. Starting over in a new state with no connections, I faced the pressures of raising a family solo while carving out a career in one of the most competitive industries in world. Embracing motherhood as I elevated my career aspirations. There were moments I felt invisible—too old, too unknown, too far from where I came from. But I stayed focused, leaned into my strength, and kept showing up. Today, I’ve graced magazine covers, stepped into film and TV, and started producing projects of my own. The journey hasn’t been perfect, but every challenge only sharpened my purpose—and now I’m living the dreams I once whispered to myself in the dark.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m known for blending glamour with grit—having earned Hollywood credits in projects like Ace and the Christmas Miracle alongside producing and appearing in independent films that celebrate strong, complex women. I’ve walked red carpets, graced magazine covers, and built a name that reflects both resilience and reinvention. What I’m most proud of is doing it all while staying true to my roots and raising a beautiful family. Through it all, I’ve remained deeply committed to helping others feel confident in their skin, which is why today, I’m honored to be recognized as one of the most sought-after aesthetic RN nurses in Southern California.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My greatest support system has always been my three children—Natalie, Nick, and Julianna. As young adults now, they’ve stood by me through every chapter with love, encouragement, and hands-on help. Whether it’s styling me for red carpets, cheering me on from behind the scenes, or caring for my little Maltese, Coco, their presence in my life is everything. Julianna , my youngest, even steps in as my makeup artist and stylist, bringing her creative eye to many of my public appearances.
