Conversations with Liti-Ahenewa Zabad

Today we’d like to introduce you to Liti-Ahenewa Zabad.

Hi Liti-Ahenewa, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Seven years ago I packed up my two sons and moved from Cincinnati to Los Angeles on pure belief. Not a plan. Belief. The kind that does not fully make sense to explain but you feel it in your chest, this is where your life is supposed to open up.
And it did. Just not in the way I expected, and definitely not all at once.
Since being here, I got engaged, welcomed twins, earned my real estate license, returned to school, built a business, and somehow kept showing up for all of it, the midnight feedings, the deadlines, the school runs, the goals I refused to let go of. At some point I looked up and realized I was doing a lot. And I was doing it well. But I was not doing it by accident.
I had built systems. Intentional ones.
That is where Transformation Through Structure was born, not from a business idea, but from survival. From me realizing that chaos does not organize itself, and that if I wanted to actually enjoy the life I was building instead of just endure it, I needed a foundation. Structured schedules. Meal prep. Designated focus time. Routines that gave my household a rhythm and gave my mind room to breathe.
Once those systems were in place, everything shifted. My home felt different. My thinking got clearer. My goals got closer. I became more present as a mother, more disciplined as an entrepreneur, sharper as a student.
And then people started noticing.
Family. Friends. Young women in my community. They started asking how I was managing it all, and I started sharing, not just tips, but the actual framework I live by. That grew into a digital product, into coaching conversations, into becoming someone people come to when they are ready to stop feeling buried underneath their own life and actually start building it.
Now I am stepping into a new chapter. I have been selected as a commencement speaker, something I still have to pause and sit with, because a few years ago I was just trying to hold it together. And I am expanding into more public speaking, more community work, more spaces where I can speak directly to people who are ambitious but overwhelmed and just need someone to show them what is possible when structure meets intention.
I am an artist. I am a mother. I am a real estate professional. I am a strategist. I am someone who genuinely believes your life can transform, not by doing more, but by building smarter.
That is what I am here to show people.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The hardest part of building something real is that nobody warns you about the version of yourself you have to become in the process.
I was ambitious before I had a plan. I had vision before I had structure. And for a long time, I was moving fast but not necessarily forward. I was reactive. Busy. Constantly putting out fires and calling it progress.
The turning point came when life stacked everything on me at once ,a growing family, newborn twins, entrepreneurial goals, school, and a standard I refused to lower for any of it. I couldn’t afford to just figure it out as I went anymore. The margin for chaos got very small, very fast.
So I got intentional. I built systems. Structured schedules, designed routines, designated focus time — a whole framework for how I moved through my days. And what I discovered on the other side of that wasn’t just productivity. It was peace. Clarity. The feeling of actually being present in the life you’re building instead of always running behind it.
That shift became the foundation for everything I’m doing now. I realized I am not the only one who needed it.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My work lives at the intersection of structure, strategy, and transformation.
I am the founder of Transformation Through Structure, a coaching and digital products brand built around one core belief: that an intentional life does not happen by accident, it gets designed. Through my framework, I help ambitious women and mothers create systems that bring order to the chaos so they can stop surviving their life and start actually living it. That includes a digital workbook currently in development, coaching, and content that reaches women who are ready to build smarter.
I am also a licensed real estate professional, serving clients in the Los Angeles area with the same level of intention I bring to everything else I do.
Beyond that, I am a public speaker. I have been selected as a commencement speaker for an upcoming graduation ceremony, which is something that feels full circle for me personally. Speaking is becoming a larger part of my work because I believe there is real power in being in the room with people, looking them in the eye, and showing them what is possible.
And as a social media content creator, I use my platform to document the real work of building a life with purpose, as a mother, an entrepreneur, and a woman who has learned that structure is not a limitation. It is freedom.
At the center of all of it is a genuine commitment to community, particularly to women and children who are navigating hard seasons and just need someone to show them a better way forward.
This is not a collection of jobs. It is one vision expressed through many lanes.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
