Today we’d like to introduce you to Lemar Wilson
Hi Lemar, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Growing up in Queens, NY with six siblings in a single-parent home, Lemar Wilson learned to be a vocal speaker early in life. Despite his passion for the music industry, it became apparent to him that God had other plans. After losing his best friend to cancer and witnessing his childhood friends make various bad life choices, he developed a love for empowering people to become the best version of themselves. Lemar obtained a degree in Criminal Justice and Business Management and worked in Customer Service and Sales in Corporate America for over 15 years. He welcomed the opportunity to serve the public positively and realized he wanted to be part of the solution rather than the problem.
As a result, he began speaking to the youth to uplift, motivate, and promote healthy lifestyle changes. He has created numerous videos on social media and has made guest appearances on numerous podcasts. He reaches out to the public not only through social media but also in schools and corporate events. Through successful mentoring, Lemar has educated, uplifted, and motivated students and adults to reach their full potential through personal development. His personal, professional, and educational background gives him the skills to not only be a great salesperson but to also motivate people from all walks of life.
Lemar offers guidance to build up confidence, promote awareness, and motivation. He provides consulting services for current and past students on mental health, personal growth, and relationship development. He has the keys to living a fulfilled life, both professionally and personally.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No I wish it was a smooth road, it would make conversations easier, earlier morning better and late night smoother. Nothing in life is easy and the more you want something out of life the more life is going to test you to make sure you serious about it. Having a family and working a 9 to 5 is a challenge because i’m basing my speaking engagements around my personal life. I have a great support system at home which is great but it wasn’t always like this it took sometime to aligned everything together. My wife wasn’t onboard with the whole public speaking but over time she notice the amount of lives I was changing and person I was becoming. There was times I wasn’t getting speaking engagements, interviews, people around me didn’t understand and didn’t want to understand but I had to keep pushing and pushing and showing up even when I wasn’t getting the views, the emails back, the people reaching out. I would wake up at 6 am and stay up to 11/12 pm trying to figure out how to better my craft.

I am an Educational Leader, Mental Health Advocate, and Author, passionate about helping people uplift their minds before they uplift their phones. With my expertise and experience, I am confident in my ability to make a positive impact on people’s lives and empower them to lead a fulfilling life.
What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future is to keep inspiring people around the world. Continue to put my new children’s book “Oliver’s First Day” in the hands of people who want to step out of their fear. I have a workbook coming soon called “First, me, and then the world” so i’m looking forward to sharing that with the world. I’m going to continue to spread more positive energy and information so everyone can live the life they feel and think.
