Conversations with Kathy Copcutt

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kathy Copcutt.

Hi Kathy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I originally started writing about co-parenting and it’s evolved. I’m a Life Style TV Host and multicultural single mom. Current contributor for KTLA LIVE, FOX 5, KTLA UNSCRIPTED, GOOD DAY CBS Sacramento, FOX GOOD DAY STATELINE, and more. I love helping and making a difference, it’s my life’s mission to be able to bring goodness into this world and leave it a better place.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing is ever smooth, but I find when you have a positive attitude toward life things have a way of working out. I always tell my kiddo that emotions are energy in motion, the energy you put out will be the energy the universe returns to you.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Recently my son and I were asked to be a Garcia De La Cruz Olive Oil ambassador and I’m thrilled. Not only is the product phenomenal, but the company has also been around for 5 generations and they are huge supporters of the American Heart Association. Goes back to aligning with brands that do good, be good, and that make a difference.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you.
I firmly believe you make your luck, go after what you want. Make sure to ask questions, support others, and always know that there’s room for everyone. Similar to a candle, someone else’s light doesn’t dim yours.
