Conversations with Jonny Morelli

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonny Morelli

Hi Jonny, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
For most of my life, I suffered from severe migraines and gut issues, specifically IBS and being lactose intolerant. In 2012, desperate and looking for answers, I came across a documentary “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead” which showed the healing powers of juicing and how it can reverse chronic conditions. I was so inspired by the documentary that I ran out and bought a juicer the next day.

I started juicing heavily, incorporating a 32oz green juice every day and even adding in juice cleanses every once in a while. Over time, my taste buds started to change, I started feeling better, having more energy and mental clarity. As I dived deeper into my health journey, I eliminated meat and dairy from my diet, and within a year, I was able to lose 70 pounds and free myself from migraines and all of the gut and digestive issues I suffered with. I got so inspired and passionate about how this diet and lifestyle transformed my life and turned to social media to share my journey and provide inspiration to those wanting to start or on similar journeys.

I have since left a job of 12 years that wasn’t fulfilling and turned to being a content creator and health coach, where I can help those looking to regain their health through lifestyle changes. It has become a passion and mission of mine to encourage people to drink more fresh vegetable juices as well as eating more raw fruits and vegetables. I also have a fur child Noah, who co-stars in many of my videos to help spread this positive message.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Of course it wasn’t an easy transition leaving a steady job I had for over 12 years, but my passion for health carried me through. I started off by selling juices out of my house and then went on to get certified in Integrative Nutrition which allowed me to help people with the knowledge I received.

Things haven’t always been easy, losing my mother back in 2020 to a fatal car crash really impacted me and it was hard to have the drive to move forward. But what’s helped me push through is making her proud, staying consistent and passionate about my mission to help others.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
What was once just a passion to get healthier and inspire others to do the same, has opened up many opportunities which I’m grateful for. I never imagined when I first started posting juice recipes and creating fun videos with my dog Noah, that it would have led me to quit my job of 12 years and share my passion helping others regain their health by becoming a health coach, hosting retreats, public speaking and partnering with amazing people and companies in this industry.

One of my proudest moments was watching my mother reverse her heart disease by trusting me and making dietary and lifestyle changes which got her off all 7 medications. Even her doctors were surprised.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Living in alignment, doing my work with integrity and being an example of what I preach and share.
